BasiliskBasilisk is about two warring ninja clans (iga and kouga) who have had a peace pact put into place by the great hittori hanzo, the pact however has built the hatred between the clans to a boiling point. twenty years after the pact was signed the next in line to lead the iga (oboro) and the next in line to lead the kouga(gennosuke) have fallen in love.
but the retired shogun Iyasu Tokugawa has decided to use the two clans to fight and determin his successor. now with the peace pact annuled the clans clash but will it trear obor and gennosuke apart?
there is also a live action adaptation of the manga called
Shinobi: heart under blade.Hokuto No kenit's a new week so a new first episode. this week is Hokuto no ken (known in the U.S. as fist of the north star) it is a post apocolyptic show where the main character is fighting to rescue his kidnapped girlfriend.

Tower of Druaga ageis of uruk.I skipped the first episode because it is nothing more than random nonsense (the main charactr dreams he is the kingand then gets knocked un concous.)
the true plot is as follows: Jill was born into a world where deoms are spawned forth from a dower ruled by the death god known as Druaga. the king (who had previously defeated Druaga.) has decreeed that the army is to storm the castle and defeat druaga to retrieve an artifact known as the blue crystal rod. rumors of the rod spread and groups of adventurers known as "climbers" ascend the tower in search of the rod.
the show lasts two seasons (ageis of uruk and sword of uruk) Funimation has uploaded all episodes to youtube but has split the seasons into two channels.
(also, I'm working from the bottom up to the top of my recomended anime, and always remember that an opinion is subjective.... unless it's that Naruto is not original(it ripps off a lot of stuff from Basalisk and dragonball) and that people who claim it to be the best ever have not seen Ghost in the shell or Jin Roh. that is a fact.)
