Yet another good reason to invest into the new games; HeartGold and SoulSilver. The offical release date for HeartGold and SoulSilver is now shown on Pokemon.com, and is set to be released March 14th, 2010.

I've heard of it from Serebii a long time ago, at least it seems, but no date. So the question is, when?

Yep. I have a Japanese one from trading on Serebii and whatnot but I still wouldn't mind one in English. I figured I'd ask just in case though.

I read up today on the details of the Pichus needed and how to get them. While going to GameStop would be a tad embarrassing for me, I'd like to this time get ahold of the Shiny Pichu so I can get the Spiky-eared critter later.

I've actually got only one problem with this. The Spiky-eared Pichu can't be traded away. In other words, if you want to ever start your game over for any reason, you've got a hard decision to make.

Better be trading around the Shiny one then 'cuz that's the only way you're going to re-unlock the second Pichu. sad

I like to restart my games from time to time. I haven't restarted my Platinum game because I've got a lot of stuff unlocked on it that cannot be unlocked again, although I can always trade-out the pokemon obtained from those events. However, I risk losing options that could only be obtained through those Nintendo Events and can't be replaced either.

If you need one, I can take my old Diamond game in also. I'll give you the extra.

Oh yes, if you can manage it. It would solve a lot of my problems, and my wireless should be all good to go by then. Thanks.

I'm going to have to cancel on that because of the simple fact my phone company misled me into believing it was wireless internet I was getting, and they shipped me a modem today for DSL broadband.

I've never had anything other than dialup and as foolish I feel, my anger is greater. Even when I spoke to the woman again last week with questions about that modem, I remember referring to it as a wireless device and she didn't correct me.

I do recall her saying wireless back then and faster internet, and I'm totally stupid when it comes to truly understanding the technotalk behind it. I've never had anything other than dialup before, although with reading installation instructions it is as simple as can be and I won't have any trouble setting it up. I'll always be connected to the internet with it, from this computer, but there's no way I can do any trades from here until and unless I purchase an adaptor device from Nintendo and I know those cost fifty bucks.

*sigh* Maybe this spring....the things I go through for want of a Celebi....

I dont care who knows that I like Pokemon, and people at GameStop dont care if you come in to get the event Pokemon. They just want to take care of you as a customer.

I just have a tendency to be self-conscious. sweatdrop

I just hope they're available at all gamestops, including my local one.
