 Can you keep a secret? In the lost and forgotten hidden kingdoms of venice italy magic still rests. The world has forgoten the power that once fuled our imagination..our childhood memorys. The power is arising again and its happening in italy. One girl is said to bring this back. One girl is said to be so pure and calm that the magic is her lifestream. she is building up her strength to return magic to veinice and then the world. But with every happy story there are demons awaiting the big night. hunting her and trying to kill her. Because demons want to reac havic. How can we stop them? How can we deal with this? shhh can you keep a secret?...a war is coming....and you need to choos a side.

Hellena sat in her room listening to one of her favorite songs. She had her curtain pulled to the side and was sitting on the red velvet window seat looking out of her 4 story home. The streets of venice italy glimmerd below her and a small canal ran in the middle. Street lamps were lit and very few people at all were out and about walking. She knew she should have been in bed by know but she loved looking out of the window. She opened her window and the cool night air blew her blonde almost white hair slightly. She smiled and closed her eyes leaning against the window seal letting the wind caress her skin. She thought about the wonders she was going to this world and couldn't wait. She was so anxiouse and her skin seemed to glow elegantly with the thought. She sighed happily some tune far away drifted through her window and she listened to it. She looked so gentle and fragile sitting in her moonlit room. Her hair was long and almost white, her skin just as pale and her closed eyes were an elegant grey. Like the prophacys fortold she looked like an angel almost.

Riku, a young man trained in the ways of magic and weaponry traveled the streets. He was alone, yes, but looking for someone... Looking for her, the one they were all talking about. He had sworn to protect her, thousands or years ago in his past incarnations. He intended to keep this promise to her, to be her protector and shield if she so needed. He would find her no matter what.
In the same moon light walked Quaius, brat of the hunters society. He was good at what he did, but cocky as all hell. He always carried more weapons than he needed and stole everyone's prey. Sei, the goddess of slash murder, wasn't going to let him get in her way this time. She jacked him against a wall hissing, "listen brat, you get in my way and it'll be your head that rolls, you got that?" She held a blade close to his throat, her eyes filled with rage, Obviously their paths had crossed before.
Another who's path had crossed the witch of a hunter was Minami. Minami, the great mystery. No one knew where the man lived, what he was or who he sided with, all they knew is that he got in their way when it came to this prophecy brat. He always swooped in at the last minute and stopped anyone from doing anything and it pissed everyone off more than it should. Even Riku wasn't too fond of the man as he never answered the questions he asked. At any rate, Riku was grateful that the man never harmed the girl, never in any carnation...

Hellena opened her eyes and thought a moment. She wanted to go for a walk. She stood up and drew her window closed but kept the curtain open. She slid on her slippers/shoes and pulled on a cloack one of the people here had made for her. The people here helped her becomse strong and raised her since she was very small. She was greatfull to them and she knew it was dangerouse to go out alone and they would protest. But for some reason she felt like she should be outside in the open for a little while. She buttoned the green cloak and left her room. She walked dow the halway heer feet making barely any noise at all. Thank the vampires for helping her with stealth. She made her way down to flights of red carpeted staires and out the back door of the kitchen. Nobodyelse wa awake or if they were they were in their room so nobody stoped her. She left and began walking at a lersurly pace her hood up but she still seemed to glow somehow.
Kiharu remained in his room lounging sideways in his chair. A desk sat in front of him and papers were laying like a hurricane on top of it. But he didn't feel like going through them. Fan male and letters of concern from people who knew what were going on. Hellena should be reading these but of course he promised to handle a few of them for her. He sighed puting out the cigerate he had sitting in his mouth. He looked around him wondering what the world was going to be like when hellena brought her magic to it. He had sworn to protect her when she took him in and she was only 5 years old..and was he. He kind of blacked out thinking about that day..she was so small and innocent..and he was alone and filthy. He loved her like a freind..then it grew into a sisterlike..and now..he didn't know how he felt about her. He ran a hand through his dark hair and stood stretching. He thought about going to check on her and left his small office like room.
Mitso sat on a bench outside in a park in venice. His sisster slept peacfully her head on his lap. He thought about this special little brat that was supposed to bring happiness and joy to the world. He scoffed at her. Oh how he hated her. He was tired of there being so much happyness and peace. He wanted destruction and chaos..pain. Because thats what him and his sisster kiko had been though. And he was a demon. He despised anything good though he was unsure why. He looked down at his younger sister and smiled. she looked so innocent but could easily kill a demon in a heart beat. They had palned on killing this little brat together and then they would be the orphaned demon heroes amongt the demon society. He sighed thinking about the day they would all call him and his sissters name in joy when they find they had killed the prophacu brat. And then the world would be theirs to take over. He laughed softly trying not to wake his sleeping sisster.

She's out and about... What a foolish move...
Minami paced past the two demons, knowing exactly who they are and what their intentions were. Minami looked not quite human as he paced by, his long black hair flowing softly over his shoulders, the clacking of his twin katanas strapped to his back. He almost glowed with a hint of translucent flesh. His eyes were focused straight ahead of him, not even bothering to look at the demons. He knew they had crossed paths before, that he had gotten in their way many times before, weapons cutting straight through his flesh only to show no wounds were carved.
Coming down across the other way were the two bickering hunters now. They were screaming at each other as always until they saw Minami.
"You!" they both yelled charging at him.
"I wouldn't advise you to attack, you'll loose..." he said softly just peering at them.
"I'll kill you yet you ghostly son of a-" yelled Sei slashing her weapon only for Minami to catch it with his bare hand and bend it.
"I told you, you'll loose... Go home little slash murder..." he then directed his gaze to Quaius, "I would recommend the same for you..."
Quaius just peered at him, "You aren't in my way right now, why would I attack you after seeing you bend her weapon? I may be young but I'm not stupid..."
"Then keep on walking young one, maybe you'll learn something from watching her mistakes..." and with that the man brushed past the boy and kept walking.
Riku had seen the whole thing from a distance away. Wow... I wish I could be as strong a defender as him, but alas I'm bound by human flesh...

Hellena knew she probably wasn't safe but she could defend herself well enough. She found her way into a park and nealt down next to a small pond. she reached out her arm glowing almost white in the pale moon light. She ran her hand lightly through the water it felt cool against her fingers and hand. she laughed softly at the simple pleasure and looked up. Her hood fell away from her face exposing her but she didn't mind. She was looking up at the moon and stars. She pulled her hand out of the water and blew on it softly. The drops sparkled a moment then lifted off of her hand and circled playfully around her. She laughed again as if she had pulled off a magic trick.
Kiharu was shocked to see her missing. But he knew where she had gone. Out. She had made him promise a while ago not to follow her should she leave for a while at night. And because he was sworn to be her guard and because he couldn't tell her no he agreed. He was now pacing in his room quikly pondering where she might be. And it killing him to trust her to be alright because he couldn't go after her. He sighed running anouther hand through his hair and lighting a ciggaret. The smoke floated barely noticible in the room and he watched it swirl pointlessly.
"she better be alright" he muttered.
Mitso knew that the little magib brat was out but he didn't move to wake his sisster. They didn't need to fight her yet and it didn't matteer if another demon founde her or not. she would defend herself. There was always going to be another chance. so he sat while his sisster slept, head against his lap, thinking up plans for cathing her, and watching two or three other demons seem to argue or fight. It amused him to see how easily the demon community was easy to heate eachother. He laughed softly again watching his sister.

The two hunters that seemed rather annoyed were in fact, human. They weren't demons of any sort but had twisted souls, trained to kill for pay. This job had been taking them forever and with them getting in each others and Minami getting in their way, it was taking even longer than it should have!
"You pathetic piece of scum..." muttered Sei punching Quaius in the gut.
"Bad idea Sei... bad idea..." he grabbed her arm and flipped her on her back, "don't try *hit with me... I've got a job to do..." The boy pulled out a cig and lit up.
"Are you a little young to be smoking?" she snapped getting back up following him.
"What's it matter to you?" he asked with a glare from behind his sunglasses.
"And why wear sunglasses at night?" she asked.
"What's it matter?" he replied.
Minami found his way to watching the girl now, smiling softly to himself as she played with her magic. She seemed so sweet and innocent, so young and lively. He wished he still had his livelihood, but alas, he'd lost that years ago.
Riku also had found his way to finding the girl. He stared at her, his heart racing. It was her, the one he was looking for, the one he protected for a long as he could remember, her... He slowly paced over in her direction, no notable weapons really seen at the moment, but he was armed always.
"hello?" he called softly.

Hellena turned to look at the person talking to her. she cocked her yead to the side curiously. He seemed..anxiouse. she wonderd who he was. She sighed mentaly hoping he wasn't dangerouse to her. She never lost concentrtion though the few droplets of water still floating around her easily.
"hello" she said lightly her voice calm and almost childlike for her age. "may I ask who are you?" she said kindly
Mitso sighed agrivated. he wished those people would go away they were making such a racket. He watched them ready to yell at them to go away but they ended up leaving soon anyways and he remained silent. He was surprised his sisster hadn't awoke yet. He wonderd what the little princess like brat was doing at the moment. "Probably soaking in the attention she's getting." he muttered

"I... I'm Riku... You probably don't remember me as this is a different incarnation... um..." said Riku pacing a bit closer to her. He was so excited that he found her he could almost cry, but it seemed she didn't remember him at all.
Minami just continued to watch the two, a relaxed look on his face as he did. He knew of Riku, the reincarnating guardian. The boy always came back no matter what to protect his master.

Hellena blinked surprised. She droped the water back into the pond and stood up gracefully. "I think I know you...your..a..guardian right?" she asked curiously and softly. she watched him thinking maybe this is the reincarnated guardian she had heard of. she hoped so. she smiled softly

"It's been a while, but I've found you..." he said softly, "again... I'm guardian reincarnate... and I'd like to watch over you once more in this life and the next..."
Minami smiled to himself as he watched the heart warming scene. Riku, in every form always was a bit shy to her at first, but forward in the same way. He always just wanted to be by her side and never really realized why.
