So I was reading a Beatles book in Books a million today. It said that in the recording of Hey Jude, in the second verse (at about 2:52) when Paul sings "under your skin" you can hear John say something really quietly. He said "Played the wrong chord. ******** hell." So I just listened to that part with the volume turned all the way up. And holyshit you can hear it! That blew my mind!

i thought it was "oh ******* hell."
at first i always fast-forwarded it when i play hey jude and now i'm so fond of it i hear it on perfect timing...
i just moments ago and laughed and said, "oh ******* hell!"

Well I'm pretty sure its in all the studio recordings. I know its on the this one, and on the "1" album.

You can hear it at about 3:01 and the verse starts at about 2:52.

my friend totally cracked when she finally heard it on my earphones. XD
see, she's deaf (for me i think she is but she isn't) and she uses really... weak? earphones.
i couldn't help but laughing!
