The guild has been dead lately so ... I'm holding a contest!
Theme
Fallout! Duh! Dress up as characters, objects, or places.
Rules
• No Tektek submissions! Tektek layering is not accurate to Gaia layering; the avatars submitted must be actually possible on Gaia.
• Be original and creative! I've seen several Fallout-themed avatars already, but let's see what you can really accomplish!
• There may be additional rules, or adjustments to the rules, depending on interest.
• One entry per person.
How to Enter
1: Create a Fallout-themed avatar
2: PM me with your entry and/or post in this thread.
--- if you do not receive a response within 1 day of your original post, you may save the avatar you are wearing to Photobucket or Imageshack or Tinypic and send me the link. Again, please no Tekteks!
3: If your entry is of a specific character, place, object, whatever, please include a reference picture.
Judging
The avatars submitted will be put to the vote within the guild. If there is a clear winner, that user will win a prize. If there is a tie, a panel of judges unaffiliated with the guild but familiar with Fallout will be asked to pick their favorite out of all submitted entries for the higher prize.
Prizes
All Prizes will be delivered in gold.
The total prize pool will vary depending on participation. The more people who enter, the larger the prize gradient.
If the absolute minimum participants (5) enter, the total prizes will amount to 50,000 gold. There will be at least 10,000 gold in prizes per participant, and possibly more. This does not mean each participant will win a cash prize, but depending on the turnout, there'll probably be a "thanks for playing" prize.
There will be at least a "first/second/third" prize, divided somewhat arbitrarily depending on the total participation.
Disclaimer
If less than 5 people participate, the contest will be cancelled. Those who entered will receive a cheap-o-rific "Sorry this failed" item in apprecation of their effort.
Deadline
All entries must be submitted by January 15, unless an extention is requested.
