So, I was knitting a prototype amigurumi and when I went to stuff it, the fiberfill was visible! Well, I figured out that it was because I used the e-wrap stitch. This stitch is VERY loose and that's why people usually use two strands of yarn when using the e-wrap.

Anyway, I decided to test another stitch. The u-wrap is tighter than the e-wrap. I knitted a small black amigurumi and when I went to stuff it, the fiberfil was completely invisible. It looks like I used knitting needles instead of a loom. Also, I only used one strand of yarn.

I do know how to knit with needles, but I use the looms when I want to knit things in the round since I failed horribly when using circular needles. I also use it when I'm knitting my costumes. At least I figured out why my Milk-chan costume was see through. Next time I'll be sure to use the U-stitch instead.

Ooooh! What's the u-wrap? I know how to make the e-wrap, but never heard of the u-wrap before... (trying to do the stitch in my head xD)

I fail at explaining things myself so I'll link you. Oh, btw, I knitted myself a duck using worsted yarn. I'm surprised that the fiberfil is still invisible. http://loomlady.blogspot.com/2007/01/u-wrap-knit-stitch-revisited.html

Cool beans... so you just do one stitch at a time, yes? And thanks for the link, I might explore it more... It's nice to find new uses for my looms! ^^

Edit:
I love you for posting that link... I found a dog sweater pattern that looks like it won't take for-flipping-ever! Woohoo!! ily =o

You're absolutely welcome! I usually use that link as a reference if I forget how to do something. Also, yes. You just do one at a time. I'm still practicing this stitch and I've noticed it takes a little longer to actually get something done. With the e-wrap, I could knit a perfect ball with only 10 rows, but with the u-stitch, it takes 10 more rows.
