I know, I know, they're everywhere, but I have a small lack of creativity right now and wanted to start a roleplay tonight. Bear with me, I'll most likely make some better ones after this, I do have some in mind, just too lazy to set them up right now.

Background: She doesn't tend to speak of it. Barely anyone knows much about this girl, she's a mystery to all.  Guild petAvada sprawled across her bed in her dorm room, not wanting to wake up for the day. Her alarm was ringing by her bed but she didn't feel like she had the energy to reach over and shut it off.
Damn, I was up way too late last night. She cursed herself. No more late night reading, she always got too much into the book and would never put it down. She couldn't keep doing it.
She finally stretched, slammed the off button on the alarm, and crawled out of bed. She grabbed a corsetted top and some jeans to put on when she headed to the bathroom to get ready.
In about 15 minutes she was ready to get out and start heading to the cafe on campus for her morning smoothie and breakfast. She grabbed her purse and the books she needed for the day before locking her door and going on her way.

Niva had been up for the past hour. She had just gotten out of the shower and was getting dressed. She still didn't really get why the school was so easy-going on the clothes everyone wore. Although it was still somewhat of a relief. Nothing worse than having to go get new clothes when you have a lack of funds to do it with.
Niva walked out to the main hangout area and started taking pictures of the fountain. That was one of the reasons why she wanted to come here. The over all architecture and look of the place.

Scarlett  Scarlett rolled over in her sheets and looked over at the clock. She didn't want to get up yet, but she needed to or she'd be late. 'Oh, it's the first day of school, what harm could it do' she thought and rolled back over and started to fall back asleep. Startled by her alarm her eyes flashed open and she groaned, she'd forgotten she set an alarm and reached over turning it off. Scarlett pulled her sheets off her and sat up. It was colder then usually and needed to find her robe and slippers.

Sleep? Who needed sleep? It was just a way to tie down the soul to a human body, make it solid, make it less than it truly was. Sleep was for the weak spirited and the weak minded. Sleep was for those who wanted to forget, to live their lives in another world that was beyond reality. Beyond the true sight of things. Beyond the truth. Who needed sleep?
Certainly not her--not Alexander January.
Or at least that's what she told herself everyday for the past week as she sat in her bed, cross legged, until the sun came up. She'd read it in a book somewhere that it was called Earthly meditation, a sort of somber silence that one would take until the sun came up. She truly believed that what she was doing was what was mentioned, but the book had also left out that the people who participated were otherworldly monks who need not rest. She, unfortunately, was not a monk, but a mere faerie who had school the next morning.
A morning she was not so happy to partake in.
Alexander--Xander, as everyone so happily addressed her--swung her feet over the side of the bed and trudged to the bathroom where she initiated her daily routine; shower, teeth, face, hair, and finally clothes before departing to the Cafe. Xander didn't want to go, in fact, school was the last place she wished to be at the moment but, as it turned out, teenagers really never got a say in anything they wanted to do.
Go figure.
As per usual the brunette was dressed in her laid back attire; faded and baggy black jeans with a simple studded belt and a large Beatles jacket. She didn't bother herself with the other things that people thought were 'necessary' to go under clothes. Why should she be? It's not like anyone would know if she never told them, right? Xander stretched as she walked, running her fingers through her shoulder length dark brown hair with ease. She'd been going to this school since she began Highschool, three or so years ago. One would think the neutral painted walls and somber statues would get boring but Xander didn't pay much attention to those things...
Hell, Xander didn't pay much attention to anything.
As she walked her gray eyes scanned the halls, looking over the women who scampered to the cafeteria like moths to a flam. Most she knew, but some she didn't. She smiled at a few, winked at some and on the occasional one she knew very well, she approached, making a light conversation. Finally she reached her destination and realizing after an agonizing silence of her stomach, that she wasn't hungry, she took a spot at table and slammed her head down on the top of it.
"Never again...never, ever, ever again." the Faerie muttered, twitching her slightly pointed ears in annoyance. How was she supposed to survive the day like this?
Lesson clearly learned.

Guild pet((Ah, no, Kingy, you misunderstand me. I said you don't have to post much, just enough to contribute and interact. If you wish to write a lot, feel free, just don't overdo it and post about like every little lint ball in someone pocket or something of the sort. I have no limitations, do as you are comfortable, just don't do one liners or bore everyone out of their skull like I've seen some people prone to doing.))
Ava sat in the cafe, sipping on a strawberry smoothie and reading a book she'd recently picked up, hearing that the other did some amazing work. Typical Ava, nose always buried in a book.
She ran her hands through her short pixie styled hair as she read, reassuring herself that she had indeed brushed it this morning. She brought her head up as the cafe began filling up scanning the room to see if she recognized any of the girls coming in. She didn't necessarily have friends at the school, but she wasn't disliked. She was just relatively quiet and introverted, though she was somewhat well known and was know, at times, to be outgoing and fun in her own ways.
She smiled at some girls passing, some she knew, some she didn't, either way she still enjoyed being friendly to all. She recognized Xander and when she saw her slam her head on the table she wondered if she should go over to see if anything was wrong or if it may be considered none of her business.
She shrugged, deciding that she should be slightly concerned and stood up to walk over to her table.
((I probably should have been more clear about the cafe, I was thinking a little coffee shop type place on campus, like Starbucks, Einstein Bagel, Jamba Juice, etc., not necessarily a cafeteria, though there is one of those as well))
