*~ Story ~*
[As of now]
He stared down at them, his eyes piercing them even through the rain. How pathetic they were, thinking they could beat him like that and not even put up a good fight.
"Get out of my sight!"
He snarled at them. One immediately got up and scrambled away, the other just stared up at him.
"I said get out of my sight!"
He yelled before kicking the good kid.
"Wy won't you leave?!"
He kicked the boy on the ground again, whom this time got up but didn't leave. Which, irradiated him even more. So, he raised his hand and made a fist.
"Better get going!"
"Violence isn't going to bring her back... Mark Knight..."
The kid whispered, before turning around and taking off in the same direction as the first.
"What was that?!"
Slowly, he bent down and gripped his hand around a rock and threw it at the kid but it just went past the kid, who just kept going.
He let out a gentle sigh, lifting his hand to wipe some blood that was dribbling down his chin. Before, lifting the same hand and with in a minute a small crow flew down from a tree and landed on his shoulder. Right now, this little pet was his only friend... Mark used to be a pretty friendly guy, he was a goof ball, hyper and silly... Fun all the way around. He was a good guy. But when the accident happened. Things changed. Out of no where he stopped taking crap from everyone around him, anyone that even looked at him funny now would have a pounded in face. He gained bad habits, and had become a terrible people person when before he had been great with people.
Lifting his hand he placed it on the crow's head, and rubbed it gently. Sighing, he let his hand drop back and he began to walk. He didn't really know where he was walking to , but he still went forward. And, eventually his feet brought him to an old park. No one really went here any more, it was old and rusting. Probably not even safe to play on, but he still came here. Because it was important to him... Himself and.... her. They had come here so often, so in memory she still did.
The crow closed it's eyes at Mark's hand and he sat there watching him quietly. As if he knew why Mark had come back to the park and he let out a squeak and took off from his shoulder when the wind russeled the leaves and the swing swung forward, a creaking of the iron hooks heard, the sound almost ear-piercing. The crow flew to the top of the swingset and sat there, shuffeling now and then, as if uncomfortable by something unseen and it gazed from Mark to the swing and back. It's movements sharp, as if to point out something.
"Hey!"
Mark called out to the crow, his voice cutting through the wind like scissors but was still easily drown out by the loud creaking of the iron hooks. Still he heard, making him cringe.
Slowly, he moved forward toward the swing set. Even though things seemed normal, looked and sounded normal...It did not feel normal. His stomach twisted and ached as he neared, and something at the back of his head was screaming at him to stop. Yet, he still neared.
