Sapphire leapt out of some bushes and ran straight into the middle of the road, not seeing it. She heard a screeching sound from the left side... rubber screeching on gravel? Sapphire turned her head and saw a huge truck attempting to come to a stop before it could hit her. Sapphire was quick to respond and jumped out of the way, only letting part of the metal skid across the fur on her shoulder right before leaping onto the side of the road. She whimpered a bit, licking at her one furless spot on her shoulder, where she had a bruise from the metal that also felt very hot so Sapphire also had a second degree burn.

Darkindle arrives onto the road. He was out of breath. He looked around for any sign of Sapphire. He begins to walk into the road without looking. "Sapphire? Sapphire? Where are..y.." he couldn't finish his statement cause headlights began to shine on him. The incoming vehicle was coming at him to fast for him to react. The vehicle hits him and he goes flying over it's top. He lands on the other side and doesn't show signs of moving. ((he's not dead but close to it))

Sapphire turned her head and saw Darkindle laying on the ground. She ran over as fast as she could, limping slightly from her injured shoulder. "Darkindle! Are you ok?!" Sapphire asked, nudging him and whimpering.

Darkindle doesn't move but he lets out a small whine. "Sapphire...don..don't leave...please." he says weakly. His natural glowing fur begins to grow feinter.

Sapphire looked at Darkindle sadly. She heaved a sigh and nodded. "Ok.. I won't leave if you don't want me to..." Sapphire said, whimpering in worry. She tried to pick Darkindle up but he was too heavy for her to handle.

Darkindle coughs up some blood. "please help me.." he says weakly. He blacks out after saying that.

Sapphire whimpered more, unsure of what to do. She gathered all of her strength and lifted up Darkindle onto her back, starting to carry him back to the cavern as fast as possible. "Hold on Darkindle, please don't die..." Sapphire said, starting to pick up some serious speed.

Darkindle coughs up some blood. "I don't intend to go yet." he says weakly. He doesn't know if he is gonna make it but he doesn't want to see Sapphire cry over him.

Both leave the road and head into the forest to get to the cavern. Darkindle's breathing begins to grow feint. The cavern looks to be too far to get to but ironically Sapphire's pack is closer. Darkindle looks to Sapphire weakly. "Do what you have to do..." he says before blacking out again.

Sapphire sighed a bit. "I can't go there... I can't..." She mumbled. Sapphire felt like she was going to cry. She continued running in the direction of the cavern, going faster then ever.

typhoon heard the comotion from his home he ran trough the woods following the scent of saphire and darkindle. "saphire please bring him to the house" typhoon stoped im sorry for everything i've done to you because of your conflict with ai but please you dont have the necessary equipment to help himplease come with me" typhoon begged
