Sapphire walked and walked for days and nights until she came to a volcanic hotspring. She walked up to the hotspring water set upon her and hopped in. Sapphire relaxed in the soothingly warm water and dunked under a few times to get her face wet. It's a good thing she wasn't shedding or that would be a mess to clean up.

Akki couldn't help but to follow Sapphire. It was like something was possessing her, she usually did her own thing. She noticed hot springs and a volcano, but she ignored the hot springs. Her heavy paws thudded the ground as she sprinted towards the volcano.

Sapphire saw a wolf run towards the volcano in a flash. 'Huh? Is that wolf insane??' She thought. 'Running towards a volcano like that is practically suicide!' Sapphire just watched as the wolf ran. She tried to yell to her to get her to stop so she wouldn't hurt herself, but the wolf was too far away. Sapphire watched, eager to know whether if the wolf was to be ok or not.

Sapphire ended up losing interest in watching a wolf walk towards a volcano so she dunked down in the hotsprings and rested.

His paws walked over the warmer rocks of the volcanic land as he stepped foot into the territory, pausing only a moment to glance at the great volcanic mountain and all of it's glory. It smoked a little at the top, but he heed it no great attention, and kept moving.
The air smelled heavily of sulfur, which made it a little harder to track down Sapphire, but he tried nonetheless, and came across the pools of warm water - the hot springs.
Torn himself never really took too much of a liking to these great pools, but every now and then they were good to sit and soak ones self in.
And as he glanced around, the male had barely spotted the female he was searching for through the thick steam from the heated water.
"Hmph.." He let out a heavy snort as he approached her then, Sitting down heavily onto his hunches at the edge of the hot spring. "Art thou over our little ordeal?" He'd asked her in a rather amused tone, before following her gaze towards a rather random sight.
A wolf running towards the volcano.
"What the devil.." He murmured under his breath, shaking his head a bit. "Adventurous one it seems.." He added softly, watching the other wolf with a dull interest.

Turning her head to Torn, Sapphire rolled her eyes. "Yes, I'm over it." She said with slight anger in her tone. Sapphire seemed rather unamused by the way that Torn treated her before.

"Hm, then I take it you're calm enough to tell me a rather delightful story~" Torn hummed, still watching the other wolf as he spoke, a brow raised slightly as he pondered the reason for their running towards the volcano.
He wasn't really worried about them, though. More curious as to their intention - was it to drown themselves in the thick gooey red lava? Or was it to show off their stamina?
Either way, the situation was random.
"A story about the slaying of your dear friend - the curiosity in me is burning."

"Hm... well you don't quite seem as interested in my story as you are as to why the wolf is running towards the volcano." Sapphire inquired with a slight smirk. She had noticed that Torn hadn't once looked at her when he was speaking to Sapphire, making her know that his curiousity was peaking more so for the wolf running then for her story. "Either way, why would you care?" She asked as Sapphire climbed out of the hotsprings, dripping wet.

"Ah, but there you are wrong. My interest on both halves are but the same. My curiosity is no different, you see." Torn had informed her quietly, this time glancing over at the female as he spoke.
"Mm? I don't care." He told her with a bit of a toothy grin. "I'm just curious~" He said with a gentle snicker, his claws scratching at the fertile ground. "Is it against the rules to be curious enough as to ask for a story?" He asked Sapphire, tilting his head to the side a bit.

"No, but it does make people upset when other people ask about how their friend's died, bringing up sad memories of the lost... never fun." Sapphire said stubbornly. She gave Torn a little grin and chuckled. "Why talk about the sad past when you can talk about the happiness of the present or the mysteries of the ever so yearned for future..." Sapphire said, content on not talking about her memories.

Torn let out a snort at what Sapphire had said, and rolled his eyes a bit. "Hehe, Dunno if you've noticed or not, but I'm not exactly a 'person' as you say. Heh..The 'person' in me has died." He had told her with a bit of an edge to his voice, but that soon faded.
"Because," He started in reply to her other statement. "The present and future might be just as bleak as the past. Happiness? Where doth thou see of that? That wolf over there, seemingly content with running towards the volcano? Or the thought that I will just leave the matter of your dead friend alone?" Torn blinked a few times at that, his tail gently flicking from side to side behind him, before curling around his paws.

Sapphire frowned. She wanted to say something but stopped herself. Sapphire just frowned. "Well maybe I'm happy because your here so I won't be lonely!" She whimpered.

A sly, toothy grin spread over his maw at what the female had whimpered out, and Torn let out a bit of a snicker before he coughed several times, spitting a bit of crimson liquid before clearing his throat.
"Well then, I'm flattered." He hummed softly, his left ear twitching a bit. "But is one really alone when no one is around? Nature herself is alive and thriving all around you - you shouldn't feel lonely in the first place, Sapphire." Torn had told her in a matter-of-fact tone, a gentle shrug adorning his shoulders.

"Heh. You know Torn, it's never just 'Yea, your right' with you. You can't make a simple reply. Instead you go specify and complicate everything. If I ask a question that just requires a short answer, you can never keep it short." Sapphire said with a cross between a giggle and a chuckle.
