Noel padded among the sparse trees that crowned the mountaintop. The air was thin here and she could see her breath. She saw a pair of ravens, floating above her. She sniffed, wary of bears and mountain lions. There was nothing around, though a large bobcat had passed through not too long ago. She was lost, among other things. Alone in the mountains was not a place for a wolf, especially a deaf one. She kept her nose to the air. She hoped to find shelter before dark fell upon the barren land.

Sapphire trotted up the mountains, being cautious so she wouldn't run into any wild animals that could prey on her. Sapphire eventually noticed Noel walking too. Sapphire had heard that Noel was deaf from some wolves, but she decided to make friends because Sapphire is always open for friendship. She trotted up to Noel and went in front of her so Noel could see her and not be scared if Sapphire just came out of nowhere. Sapphire didn't know how to speak to the deaf, so she just walked up to Noel and sniffed her to show she was friendly.

Bullet lay in a large spruce tree. She watched the wolves close to her tree. Being abandoned by her mother made her very untrusting towards others. She watched them and lowered herself a branch to see what they were doing.

Noel stared at all the wolves surrounding her. The one at her feet was severely injured and she was hard pressed not to care. She looked up at Sapphire, reaching out with her mind. We must help her.

Near the mountain top a low snore could be heard emitting from a small little cave. Inside a black lanky wolf lay asleep. He had been lucky in finding this escape from the cool and was using this cave completely to his benefit.

Sapphire looked over at Noel and understood what she was saying. She nodded in reply and mouthed the word "Ok". Sapphire looked at the fallen wolf and sniffed at her wounds, seeing if they were deep. Sapphire turned back to Noel and nodded to say "Stay right here, I will be back with herbs". She quickly ran to find herbs or something to plug-up the wounds. "Hmm.... I can't find any herbs under all of this snow on the mountain..." Sapphire said to herself, concerned about the well-being of the fallen wolf in need of medical attention.

The sent of blood drew Bullet down a few more branches until she was only a few feet from the wolves heads. She looked at the injured wolf carefully, she wanted to jump down and attempt to help but was unsure if she could trust them.

A breeze sweeped into Cane's little cave blowing cold air into his fur. Shivering slightly Cane gave a low yawn and stretching. He was about to just curle into a tight ball when a foreign scent reached his nostrils.
Sniffing the air, he perked up his head looking around with a daze sleepy look. "Who goes there...?"

Scarlett walked across the snow with silent steps. Her white fur helped her blend in perfectly, only her black spots and markings showing she was not the snow itself. Along her way she has spotted a few wolves, but the sents told another story.
She lay down under a snow covered tree and watched the area with her large black eyes. She had some time to rest before having to go and find her human.

Cane gave another yawn before getting up and slowly stretching. With his calm tone Frostbite obviously didn't present a threat. "The few who know me call me Cane," he answered stepping further out of his cave.
Fresh air fill his nostrils, some creature was in great distress. "I have a feeling one of our fellow kin is in trouble. the scent of a wolves blood fills the air." Cane looked around sniffing the snow. with in minutes he found what he was looking for about a half a mile from his cave. A trail of blood in the snow.
Quickly Cane ran following it until he spotted a group of wolves. His black fur was a dead give away in the white snow, therefore he kept is distance showing he wasn't a threat.

Sapphire eventually came back with several herbs. She took the herbs to the fallen wolf and put them in it's wounds, softly. "There, you should be better as soon as your blood stops flowing out of the wound." Sapphire said, kindly. She turned her head and noticed a wolf she knows, Cane. "Oh, hello Cane." Sapphire said, happy to see a familier face.
