Hey, never thought of a cross stitch siggy like that. I sometimes put my initials in basic lettering, maybe an abreviated date, depending on the type of room available. I have a drawing siggy though, which is basically my initials in currsive together...all practiced too and I get to change that this spring wink So come to think of it either 1. I could design design a limited edition cross stitch siggy 2. do it the old way or 3. not do it at all wink

Mind twisted enough yet wink

If it's framed I put the date on the front and my name on the frame in the back. Most of what I've done has been too tiny for signature. ^^;

I don't have much of a signature myself, I just put my initials and then the last two digits of the year, not very elaborate lol. It was only within the past year or so that I realized I should do it anyway, oops hehe. There is one guy over on the Teresa Wentzler bulletin board who's signature is really cool, it's actually in cursive and then he does it in a thread that matches the piece and works it in unobtrusively, it's totally cool. I hope it's ok if I post this here, but here is his webshots album and you can see his sig in his pieces. He is also quite possibly the best stitcher I know of, I'm always in awe of him.

I mainly do the same. Just my initials and last two digits of the year.

i do that too, but i wasn't able to on my dragon, nor on the oval-cat one, mainly because of where the frame would fit. But for the small creations i did, i just put my initials and the '06 or whatever in black in the bottom.
