What are Mini-games?

Mini games are the stuff that you as members host and play. They are also like the stuff that the guild itself will be hosting.

Mini games include:

Riddles, Contests and Post Actions

Guidelines

1. Think about the event that you’re hosting and the expenses (event, reasons, prizes, how much can you afford to spend)

2. Allow me to place your event in the guild announcements before you begin hosting so others will know that you have permission.

Questions you should ask yourself

A. (What is my purpose for holding a contest?) Often times we do stuff that have no purpose and sometimes that's ok. However in this guild, if you're holding a contest there must be reason behind it hopefully and I don't care if it's "just to have some fun because I'm bored".

B. (What type of contest is it?) You need to know from the beginning what it is that you're doing otherwise it will be a waste of time for you and those who are participating

C. (What kinds of rewards will I be giving away?) Gold, items, you need to know what prize you're giving away. Also if you do decide to have a prize you need to make sure that you really want to give it away and that it's something that you would want to receive. If you give something away and later on realize that you miss it and want it back well there are a few consequences for you.

D. (Can I afford to have this event?) Think about expenses like the prizes that you're giving away. If it's gold, how much gold do you think you will have after the contest is over with? Do you have to buy any items for the contest? If so find out their prices.

Consequences

1. You have to mail both myself and the winner(s) with the notice that you gave away something that you didn't mean to give away. You must also state what you're willing to give them in exchange for the prize. Note: If you gave away gold as a prize or part of a prize you won't receive it back under any circumstances

2. Make the exchange within 48 hours and both people must send me letters stating that everything went well.




Riddles are a question that requires you to think about the answer before guessing. They often have clever answers to them and can sometimes be funny, Although some are detailed and others don't have much detail to them.

Guidelines

1. Think about the riddle that you will be asking the public.
2. Follow the guidelines for hosting riddles
3. Make sure that the riddle is appropriate?
4. Figure out the difficulty level of the riddle
5. Prizes that you plan on giving away
6. Any expenses



A contest is an event that is held by somebody where the winners usually receive prizes.

There are several contests that are held monthly within this guild. However, as captain I also know that you all want to hold you're personal contests so here are a few rules.

1. Think about the contest that you want to have
2. Follow the guidelines for holding contests
3. Make sure that the contest is appropriate
4. Figure out the difficulty level of the contest (post actions? just for fun?)
5. Figure out the time length that you plan to have this contest
6. Figure out your award system (what are you giving away? Gold? Items? Both? How many people can win?)
7. Can you afford to have the contest?
8. Is the captain about to start a contest that might cause conflict with yours? (This is important especially if you're holding a contest that requires donations or something like that.)
9. Also please allow me to put your event in the guild announcements so others will know that you have received permission to have your event.

Also you must consult with me if you plan on collecting anything from members within this guild. As captain I don't want anybody to feel uncomfortable and fear that they might get scammed or anything like that



What are Post Actions ? Post Actions are like the random stuff that you do in a forum. There are several types of these actions.

1. Rolled Dice: You roll a certain number of dices and try to get a certain number. I recommend that the person holding this contest thinks about the probability factors. Probability is the possible number of chances that a person may or may not get something. For example: What is the probability winning the lottery if 100 people were playing, there were five possible numbers, 48 numbers to choose from and only 12 chances per person? It could be 5 out of 1200 possible combinations. So as you can see, your odds can be highly against you and therefore take this into consideration. Also you must think about how many days you plan on holding the contest. Surely you can’t stay on the computer 24 hours in a day and hold the contest, so think about it and give a deadline. Once the deadline is up private message me to close your contest forum after you have found your winners or give me a possible length that you need before I can delete the post. These rules follow for Random Number games as well.

I know that these seem like a lot of rules but they really aren’t that much. In fact you will see that once you just follow them that they are simple and will help keep the guild running nice and smoothly.
