Are they worth investing in?
Or are they a sign that investments in this year's rigs are over? XD
I was thinking about getting a few to save in storage, but I'm looking for as many opinions as possible, before I start buying tomorrow and the next day. <3

If they're like most RIGs, they'll go up for awhile, but as you can see from this RIG, you never can tell when Gaia will reissue them.

I've noticed that some of the really good rig items have gone down in price. Like the Marionette, Mercuries Moon, and the Shibuya Nobody, etc.
Personally I'd rather invest in one of those highly sought items and not the rig itself.

I think Lupas Deva's advice is good. I have hoards of RIGs and bundles that are now falling in price. I'm not too worried since this particular bundle only lasts 10 days, but I'm still irritated. I wish I could buy up some of the popular pricey items but I don't even have the gold to buy for myself let alone hoard them. ;_;

I don't like hoarding RIG items for the same reason I don't like hoarding anything from the Cash Shop(*) - Gaia can and will make them available again at any time.
I usually do keep a couple of the items I like, but if anyone thinks we're not going to see Kitten Stars again, I have a bridge in Brooklyn I'd like to sell you. (Same with Bibbles, Pale Marionette, etc. Anyone remember the price fall of NSFW?)
Patience pays off if you're looking to buy, but it can be killer if you're looking to make a profit.
(*)The exception being 1st gen EIs, because I think they'd be shooting themselves in the foot and really hurting sales of future EIs if they did. But last gen? You never know when they're going to show up again.
