Prox walked into the poke'mart and began to browse the store for items he could use. While he was walking around with cubone on his shoulder he heard the voice of the clerk,
"Hey, no pokemon allowed in the store, please return him to his pokeball."
Prox looked at Cubone with a sad look, "It's ok pal, I'll just be quick." With that Prox rose the pokeball to Cubone's head and a red light was emmitted returning him into his pokeball. Prox walked over to the counter and pulled out 400π. "I'll take 2 poke'balls... Thanks"
The clerk handed over two empty pokeball and nodded quietly.
Prox exited the store and made his way to Viridian Forrest.

(My computer doesn't make funky symbols, so I have to spell out Trupii)
Before entering the poke`mart, Dom returned Pichu to his poke ball and snapped it onto his belt. He walked into the poke`mart and breathed in the technology so to speak. He walked up to the counter and the man turned to him. "How much for a Good Rod?" Dom asked the man. The man checked his list of items. "We don't sell them here, you need to get to Cerulean for one" Dom sighed and looked at the price of poke`balls. "Five pokeballs please" Dom said as he handed over the Trupii and in return, got five poke`balls. "Thank you" The man nodded silently and Dom walked out and headed for the Varidian forest.

Mika pushed the door open, letting himself in instead of waiting for the door to automatically open, he dug his change purse out of his bag and pulled out five hundred π (received earlier from Dom) he stopped, looking at the price. he gulped.
"err...two pokéballs...please."
he looked around the store, observing all the different items,
suddenly, he saw a familiar pair of shoes, he looked up,
"Dom?"
sure enough, there he was, but he was already leaving,
he quickly took his change and ran after him,
"Dom! Dom!"
as soon as he was outside, his bare feet touching the ground, began to gain speed and was soon running so fast, the people who saw him figured he was on rollerskates,
he skidded to a stop as he got a couple of meters away from Dom, and let the momentum do the rest,
"Dom! There you are, I've been looking all over for you!"
his croagunk arrived, slowing down as he neared Mika,
"Dom...I'm really sorry for my reaction earlier....or at least for stepping on your head....though I admit tripping you was pretty fun..."
he paused, looking up at him,
"Anyways...As I was saying earlier, we need to catch up with the pokemon dude..."[Exits to route 2] Word count: 209

Kisa followed Rio into town while he sniffed around. She looked up ahead and noticed a pokemart. "Ah! That's exactly where we need to go. That way the next time you battle we can add some more pokemon to our team." Rio looked back at her and yipped. He liked that idea. As they came closer to the store Kisa noticed a sign that read "No Loose Pokemon". "Oh well, time to go back in your pokeball." Rio pinned his ears back making a pitiful face. "Oh don't worry, it'll only be for a little bit." He finally sat down admitting defeat and Kisa tapped the pokeball on his head. A bright red beam wrapped itself around him and took him into the white and red sphere. Kisa walked inside and went to the counter studying the prices. "Hmm, I'll take 2 pokeballs please." The clerk nodded and pulled some out from behind the counter. "Thank you!" Kisa went back outside and released Rio. He shook his whole body off like he was soaking wet then grinned up at Kisa. "I told you it wouldn't be long, now let's try to catch some pokemon."
