Prox entered the lab with excitement. He hadn't been in a place that had so much technology. It was a place of scholars indeed; where studies of the highest degree could be carried out with ease. 'Surely this place can help me with my problems.' Even though he had been raised by Pokemon he had never seen an egg before. The one that raised him was a male Cubone. Cubone, by nature, are a loner species who prefer to be by them selves rather then in a group. So he hadn't seen an egg before.

A woman at the desk watched as a boy with a rather odd outfit walked through the door. He had a cubone's skull on his head, as if he himself were a cubone. He had a bag on his back and a chain with a bone club at the end. "Uhm, C- Can I help you sir?"

Prox looked at the lady curiously, pirking his head to the side he spoke slowly and quietly. With a deep mysterious voice. "I- was hoping to find Prof. Maple. I have a Pokemon egg here that I would like looked at. If you would be so kind as to direct me to him; I would appreciate it very much." Prox bowed to the young girl at the counter before rising back up and looking at her attentively.

The woman blinked a couple of times. 'What is with this guy?' She cleared her throat, then spoke, "Right this way." She left her post at the front counter and lead her around a corner to a large set of doors. She opened them and allowed him to enter, "Go down the hall, take a left. Then it is the 5th door on the right."

Prox followed her to the doors before walking through. He looked at her curiously as she just allowed him to venture on his own, "Thank you kindly" He walked down the hall then took a left. He passed the doors one at a time, "One, two, three, four, five." He was now facing the door that was to be Prof. Elm's door. He knocked three times. ♪Knock, Knock, Knock♪ There wasn't an answer. Prox looked around for a moment, 'I supposed I'll just take a seat.' He turned around and sat on one of the waiting benches on the other side of the hall.

Prox perked up a moment at the sound of the door opening. When he noticed it was a female instead of his idea of Prof. Maple as a male he was a little shocked, "Why hello there ma'am. Am I to assume you are Prof. Maple?" Prox bowed respectfully to the lady that he had just meet, "I'm sorry I lack my manners. My name is Prox Sho-Shun. What, I might ask, is your name?"

Prox wasn't sure on what to do, 'Maybe Prof. Maple wouldn't appreciate them in his office, though this girl may know more about him or her then I do so it may be ok.' Prox nodded then walked in. He brought his bag in and sat it down in corner on the floor carefully. He bent down and unzipped his bag. From his bag he pulled out his egg that had been carefully wrapped in a blanket. "I have an egg here I was hoping he could take a look at. I've never seen a Pokemon egg before, so I don't really know what to do with it. I'm trying the best I can with what I have. I'm just afraid it may not be enough."

Prox smiled, though it may not have been so evident due to the cubone skull. "Yeah, I try my best. I'm not so sure what kind of egg it is. It has these markings that suggest maybe a cubone... which would make me extremely happy. Though I was hoping the Prof. could tell me for sure. I don't really know if the markings even mean anything. My egg has been wiggling and making some noises as well. I'm not sure if it's close to hatching, but my gut tells me it may be." Prox picked his egg up and brought it over towards Kisa to show her his egg.

Prox was happy she thought that it may be a cubone after all. "I hope it hatches to be a Shynx then." He smiled again, though hidden by the mask. When he heard her question the reason behind it. He reached up and touched it. "This was.. well you could say it was my fathers. I.. It's kind of hard to talk about." Prox paused for a moment as the memories flooded his mind. "I was well.. raised by cubone." Prox paused again. He was slightly shy and he wasn't used to explaining things such as his personal life with others. Expecially ones he had just meet. "My protector, the cubone who looked after and raised me, died and this was his gift. He took the mask off of himself and handed both this and his bone club to me. I keep it with me and wear it always. This is why I hope it is a cubone that hatches from my egg. So I can keep another cubone from living a lonely life as most do."

Prox nodded, hoping she got his gesture that everything was fine. He pulled out a chair and sat down relaxed with his egg in hand. The room was so large, though at times it could feel so small. There were mechanical, and technological devices of every kind through out the lab. Before he could really say much of anything there was some foot steps coming from the door. A key was placed at the door as if to unlock it. The handle jiggled and there was a thud on the door. Form the other side a muffle voice could be heard, "Oh darn it all. I always forget when I leave this place unlocked." The key was placed in the hole again, then turned to unlock the door. The door was slowly opened before a surprised face peeked through. "I left he lights on too? That's not something that usually hap- Oh! Why hello there. I was unaware I had visitors. I am is Prof. Maple. What are you two hoping for? A new pokemon I presume?"

Prox bowed as well. He mainly kept to himself while he awaited for his turn to speak. When Kisa had finished her part Prox picked up his, "My name is Prox Sho-Shun, and I am very pleased to meet you sir. I was hoping you would help me with my egg as well. I was really hoping you'd tell me what lies inside and if it is being taken care of properly."

Prof. Maple smiled wide as they both bowed, "Such manors for kids these days. It seems you have traveled far Kisa. All without a Pokemon partner to protect you. That is both dumb and dangerous. You and your pokemon could have been harmed. I am glad you made it safely. Prox I can tell you what lays inside of your egg, and yours as well Kisa. As for if it is being taken care of properly. Pokemon eggs are very stable, though fragile at the same time. If dropped it may crack, if thrown it may bounce. They are extremely wondrous, mysterious things. This is why I am so interested in them. I am glad you both have brought me grand specimen to examine. Just place them on this machine over here." Prof. Maple walked towards a device that had a rounded carving out of the table top. There were multiple carvings as if it was made to handle more then one egg or pokeball.

Prox placed his egg on the first slot and awaited the machines read out. "I do hope it is a cubone."

Prof. Maple looked at it the machine as it flashed colors and beeped vigorously. "Well as your get up addresses it seems you would enjoy a cubone very much. That skull is authentic after all; a story is behind it I presume. Yes yes... Cubone don't give those up very often it must have been a very dear gift... Ah! Here it is.. Well you will be happy to know that it's a cubone indeed. It is nearly hatching as well. It has been taken care of well as I thought. Warmth and communication helps it along smoothly. Also for some reason being around other Pokemon seems to push it along."
