Intro:

Filipino is the national language of the Philippines and, along with English, is an official language; designated in the 1987 Philippine Constitution. Filipino is an Austronesian language that is based on various existing native languages in the Philippines, with a significant number of Spanish words in the vocabulary. In fact, about 40% of everyday (informal) Filipino conversation is practically made up of Spanish loanwords. The Filipino language is in evolution, development and further enrichment on the basis of existing languages of the Philippines and other languages. It is the first language of Filipinos living in Metro Manila and the second language of most Filipinos.

Hey. Would you like me to delete/lock the other one? What was wrong with it?

Is anyone still here? I'd really like to teach, if anyone still wants to learn this, or is actually active in this thread.

Lainio, are you a Filipino? There are quite a number of mistakes in your above posts, and I'd be glad to correct you, if you will teach, since I am a native Filipina. Also, have you contacted the previous thread owner yet? The moderators said that we need to contact her before taking over. Thanks for volunteering for lessons, though. 3nodding

It's ok. I'm just giving vocabularies but I might delete it if requested. (I'm not bothering the deepest and rarely-used words like "masalimuot" and "dinuduhagi").
I'm Filipino living in Metro Manila area. ---"daming mali dito, right?"

I haven't contact the mods. I prefer being learner to being mentor. sweatdrop

Yes. Marami ka ngang mali dyan. sweatdrop You live in NCR? Hm. I'm in Quezon City. I'm rather surprised now why there are errors in the first place. But anyhow, I've approached the mods, they said to notify the previous owner, and since she hasn't replied in a week, the position automatically falls on the first one who requested the position, that being me. No, please do keep your posts, I'll just PM you the errors, and we can both work on a lesson plan, if you decide to still be a volunteer as teacher in this topic. Otherwise, please do edit your posts later on, and I'll continue the lessons if you wish. 3nodding
