Private RP: Sinful Nana and LordBelialSiXXX Nana left her house Monday evening, upset and restless. Trying to restart her heart after Niyami was beyond painful, but it was a necessity. And after asking around at work, she heard from a few girls that NAUGHT was a great place to be for nightlife. Which was exactly what she needed. Maybe a random hook-up, no strings, and some alcohol to distract her. The place was already pumping come nightfall. As she got through the bouncer and paid her cover, she was glad for a Monday. It wasn't awfully busy.

It wasn't a busy night, not at all. Which was why Giger had resulted to performing the usual tricks as she served the patrons their drinks. It was nothing fancy, just a few flips before pouring a drink or maybe balancing the bottle on her forearm. Just the normal things NAUGHT taught all their employees for when business was slow and customers wanted a bit more entertainment.
She was in the middle of one of these tricks, a simple flip of the bottle, when she happened to look over, toward the front. Seeing Nana caught her off guard and she slipped slightly, barley able to catch the bottle before it hit the floor. Giving the man across the counter from her a sheepish smile and his drink, she turned to Nana, waving quickly in hopes that the girl would see her.

Nana's face lit up with joy when she saw a familiar face. She made a beeline for the bar, hopping on a stool. "Hey Giger! I didn't know you worked here!" And lowering her voice a little, she grinned. "Nice catch, too. You were just a couple of inches from losing the bottle. And a waste of alcohol that big would be a crying night."
Giger looked in her element, Nana noted. The attitude she seemed to have faded when it came to serving the customers. It suited her quite well. "How long have you worked here?"

"Hey!" she said, equally happy to see Nana. She had been just a touch surprised to see the girl here, honestly. Nana didn't strike her as the type to be clubbing. "Mmm yup, here almost everyday at some time or another" she said with a small nod, setting the bottle she held aside. She laughed, shaking her head. "Crying night indeed, the boss would make sure I was the one crying" she grinned, giving the other girl a small wink.
She thought for a moment. "Probably a good year now" she said. "Care for a drink?"

"You must see the gambit of people if you've been here a year." At the mention of a drink, she smiled. "Something that will get me plastered quickly. Tonight's a forgetting night, with a few stupid decisions thrown in for good measure."
She fiddled with her necklace idly, not good with crowds. A homebody like herself was more accustomed to talk to people online than in a setting like this. But Giger made for good company either way.

"Mmm, oh yeah" she mumbled, already getting a glass out for Nana. "Aw. Well, sometimes those nights can turn out to be the best kind, though" she said, trying to offer her a comforting smile, though it probably ended up looking more mischievous than anything.
She quickly poured a few different liquids into the cup before pushing it toward Nana. "Lucky for you, you caught me just before my shift was over. Th guy who comes on after me kinda stinks at mixing drinks" she snirked, stretching slightly now. "Speaking of, my shift's over" she said, leaning against the bar now. "Care for some company after I clock out...?"

Nana nodded, taking a sip of her drink and wrinkling her nose. "Oh, Giger, this is gonna kill me!" She took another sip, knowing it would to the trick. At the offer for company, Nana nodded. "Totally. I need the company. It's no fun drinking alone." She winked, giggling. "So since you work here, do you drink for free?"

"That is the idea" she giggled, slipping down behind the counter for a few minutes to put a bit of cash in the register. "Awesome" she muttered, as she stood up. "Hah, no, unfortunately" she grumbled, picking up a glass and pouring herself drink. After a few minutes, a man appeared from he back, giving Giger a small nod. She brightened up, returning the nod before slipping out from behind the counter and taking a seat next to Nana, taking her drink with her. "Looks like my shift just ended..."

Nana cheered, her face already starting to get red. Lightweight was the operative term when it came to her. She raised her glass to Giger when she sat down. "To a night I'm going to regret in the morning, if I remember it at all!" She took another gulp, grinning. "So what is your favorite thing about working here?"

"Indeed..." Giger smiled, raising her glass to Nana in return. She downed her drink, motioning to the man for another. Unlike her companion, she could hold her alcohol, so she had to start now if she wanted to catch up with Nana. "Well..."she mumbled, thinking and grabbing the drink that was sat in front of her. "All the interesting people you meet, I suppose" she finally said, taking a drink.

"But after a while, don't you get tired of the sucky human beings? The people who just have nothing to them beyond the first layer." Her voice lowered as she looked into her drink, more under the influence than she needs to be. "Or those that are really amazing people that don't know you even exist beyond a smiling face."

Giger frowned, looking at Nana over the rim of her glass as she worked on draining the second one as well. "Hmm...well...if they don't want to know me, they don't, there's always someone else out there to get to know" she said after a few minutes "not much use in lingering over something that wasn't meant to be." "As for the sucky people...there are some that can offer at least a little bit of something, even if it is just sex, the others can be ignored" she said with a small laugh.

"But I'm too old emotionally for casual sex. I want to be involved with someone deeply. I mean, here I am, mid-twenties, and I haven't had more than a couple of relationships since high school." Nana sighed into the counter. "I'm not that ugly, am I? I know that I'm distinctly Asian, but I thought that the exotic eyes did it for some people." She was definitely over the edge already. What the hell was in that drink? Looking up to Giger, she asked, "Am I pretty at all?"

"Too old emotionally..." Giger repeated, looking fairly confused by the concept. "Aw come on, it's not that old" she said, giving Nana a gentle nudge, trying to cheer her up. "Listen..." she said, draining her glass and motioning for another. "You look great, not only that, you've got a good personality" she said with several firm nods. "And trust me, I have good taste in women, you're defiantly a good catch, it just takes a little time to find the right someone...maybe a lot of time..." she mused, sloshing the drink in her glass absentmindedly. "If it makes you feel any better, I've never really had any actual relationships at all" she said with a quiet laugh.

"Really? But with all the tattoos, the rock boys must be lining around the block for you! Actually, a few of my friends would climb over me to talk to you." She was kinda watery around the edges as she drained her glass. "I guess I'm tired of waiting. I've always been the girl who wanted to settle down, have a family early, be the pretty young housewife. Instead, I'm working at the art place, surrounded by people who are more talented and beautiful than me, evaluating my lack of awesomeness daily." She held up Shizue's soul sphere. "Sometimes I wonder if she'll be my last chance at a person who'll like me for who I am, not for what I offer."
