Inkheart is about Motimer, a man with the rare ability to read characters and objects out of books. When reading a book called Inkheart to his wife and daughter, he accidently read Capricorn, Basta(Fire raisers) and Dustfinger(Fire eater, also known as Fire-Dancer) into our world, and his wife, Resa, Into the book. He spent ten years seaching for another copy of Inkheart so that he could read Resa out, but is kidnapped by Capricorn when he finds one. He eventualy kills Capricorn and the book ends. In the next two, Inkspell and Inkdeath, Mo, Meggie and Resa get taken to the Ink world an kills the Adderhead and Mo becomes a robber named the Bluejay. This is set years after the end of Inkdeath, when all the origanil characters are dead.
