Age: Fifty-Six
Blood: Pure Blood
Wand: 11 2/3 in =, Redwood, with a unicorn hair.
History: Margret was a student at Hogwarts a long time ago. She was married to a Gryffindor after graduating. She went on to study care of Mafical Creatures, but could not pursue a career since she soon gave birth to a son. Micheal Joseph Bates. She stayed home and moved to the muggle world to keep her son safe not wanting him to get into any of the mess that she was involved in. Mainly, the Death Eaters and Voldemort himself. She went on to teach muggles until her son was all grown up and off to Hogwarts himself. He of course got himself in the Death Eaters, and married off to another Slytherin female. Who in turn produced Margret's granddaughter, Alyssa.
When the death of her son Micheal and his wife took place, Margret and her husband David took in Alyssa, her sister, and her brother. Since Alyssa was having an issue interacting with the children, she thought it best to hold the girl back from Hogwarts until she showed improvement. She sat back and watched for a good many months wondering when exactly Alyss would find it in herself to open up. When she did, a large smile grew onto Margrets face and watched as her Granddaughter developed into a young lady. When the Hogwarts Letter came once more, she sent Alyssa off to Hogwarts. Hoping that the Death eaters did not take her in as well.
Hearing the mess of what happened to Alyssa during her fifth year here, she automatically kept her at home during the summer and got her memory taken away of the whole incident. The blonde was okay for a while until the next summer came and the two of them got into a car crash. Alyssa's memory came back all to soon and Margret began to worry for her granddaughter. Unable to follow her to Hogwarts, she hoped for the best. When the teaching position came open, the now fifty-six year old women jumped at the oppertunity to take the teaching position in hope to watch over her grabdaughter in her final year.
Personality: Margret is much like Alyssa. She is kind, and has a very warm heart. Though she is rather vulnerable and is very sensitive when anyone brings up her son and his wife, along with Voldemort. She regrets deeply for joining his side. The blonde female is also a very big worrier. She tends to freak out over every little thing, expecially when it comes to Alyssa. She is protective to any child she meets. At times she can be stern, but prefers to befriend the children instead of scare them.
Pet: An Owl.
Position: CoMC teacher.
Other: This teacher has a good many tricks up her sleeve. Although she seems nice on the exterior, deep down is the want for true evil. It is in hibernation and has potential to be brought out at any given moment. Even if she doesn't want it to.

The rules you must follow: o1. Behavior and Attitude:
I expect me to treat me like you would your parerents. Be kind, and be respectful. I will allow no goofing around when class in session. Although I am slightly linient, I will give out detention when I see fit. No talking when I aam talking. Raise your hand and wait until you are called upon to answer a question I ask. When I am finished with the lesson you may talk, but do so quietly so I may work on the things I need to work on.
o2. Homework, Quizzes, and Tests:
Homework will be given out according to your class. The higher level in class you are, the more homework I will probably give. If I suspect that you or the class have not paid attention and has not learned a thing from what I was teaching, you will be given homework or more homework depending on the mood I was in before the class. The homework grade will vary depending on how well you choose to answer the question and also on the difficulty. There will be days where I won'y give homework, and there will be days that I do. Classwork is due at the end of the period, and homework is usually due the next day, sometimes the end of the week.
Quizzes will vary also, depending on the lesson I am teaching. But I do try to guarantee a quiz at the end of every week. I tend not to dwell on a subject for to long, which is usually why there are a lot more quizzes than tests.
Tests are mostly exams that are held at the end of the semester. Take them seriously, and don't goof around.
I have a no cheating polocy. Stick to it, if you don't I will automatically take up your homework and grade it as is. Doesn't matter if you have not completed it. I will also give you a 4 in my detention system.
o3. Tutoring:
I have set up times for everyday that you will be able to come in and ask me any questions about a lesson. There are times though that I will ask for you to schedule a tutor for that time for I may have something to do for that period. And please do not schedule a time becuase you want to get out of a class, I will find out.
o4. Abscenses and Tardies:
If you are absent for my class then please at sometime during your day, come by my office and drop off a note from what happened. If you are absent and I get no note you will be refered to your head of house who will decide what to do.
For tardies, I expect everyone in here on time. If you are late it will be a 1. Two times will be a 2. Three times a 3 and anymore a 4. Please look at my detention system for the corresponding numbers.
Hand me the note and apologize the minute you walk in. I don't want to have to pry it out of your hands and interupt the class.
o5. Detention System:
1. A nights worth of detention (come straight after you eat your dinner) and 5 point deduction.
2. A weeks worth of detention (come straight after your dinner) and 10 point deduction.
3. Two weeks detention, a note to your head of House, and 20 points deduction.
4. A month of detention, note to your head of house, note to Headmaster, and 500 points deduction.Some credit goes to Mizu-no-Hyme.

Classes I offer: Care of Magical Creatures Level I: This is for the third years only. They will be taught about the basics of the creatures and their levels. They might be showed creatures of the first level, depending on the class.
Care of Magical Creatures Level II: This is a class for the fourth years. They will look more on the caring of the animals and such. May see level twos in this class.
Care of Magical Creatures Level III: A class for the fifth years. This class will focus on the taming of the beasts and their reactions to multiple things. May see level threes here.
Advanced Care of Magical Creatures : A class for the sixth and seventh years. This is for all the advanced people that have finished all the courses. They will work with the capturing of the animals and work with other thing. A possible working with level fours and higher.Credit goes to Mizu-No-Hyme

In a paragraph form please tell me your name, house, and year.I would also like to know the class you are applying for with the level of that class and a reason as to why you would like to join.I don't want a reason like "Because it takes up time" or "because I'm bored" I want a well thought out reason.

Adam walked into the class fairly tired. He hadn't been able to sleep well the night before and now rumors were flying that this new teacher was a death eater. He doubted very highly that Dasklin would have hired a Death Eater and if by chance he had Wixom would have definately had something to say about that. Especially after that massacre at the beginning of the year. Either way Adam was still determined to get through Hogwarts without detention so seated himself down quietly while he waited for class to start.

 Katie walked onto the grass with a smile. She had missed this class and potions. None of the rumors about evil professors had reached her ears and she probably wouldn't have listened to them anyways just because she knew lots of people were just idiots that liked spreading rumors. She saw Adam and her smile broadened. "Morning Adam, what did you think of the Herbology lesson? Pretty boring for a first day I must admit." Katie had been disapointed with her first class since it was once again one of her absolute favorite classes. "Better yet how do you think this professor is going to turn out?"

The older woman sat back in her chair smiling to herself glad that none of her students were fourth years. She was tired, and really didn't want to mess with any body. Mostly fourth years. It was nothing against them really, thy were still on the young side and in the mourning no one wanted to be in school. By the afternoon, when she has her third years everyone pretty much worn out from the semi-long day. Utterly confused as to what was going through her brain at the moment, Margret stood up and walked to the board writing down the instructions. And of course introducing herself.Professor Bates Good morning students, I am the new professor: Margret Bates.
At the moment I'm very earadable and am not in the mood to tolerate any talking let alone noise.
Sit down in your assigned desks, and don't utter a word.
Take out your quills and parchments and write about your favorite creature.
It's a simple assignment.
Don't get to excited, the class is normally not like this.

Kaydin walked into the room and took a seat farthest away from Adam. He had nothing against the other male, he just needed some time to himself at the moment. Feeling another cough coming, he covered his mouth and let out a violent one. Biting into his lip he shook his head close to tears. The coughing was getting worse, and it was beginning to hurt. Seeing the board he read it quickly and then noted the new blonde teacher. She looked slightly close to the Blonde head girl, slytherin. What was her name? Oh, right, Alyssa. Shaking his head ignoring the resemblince he took out a quill and parchment and got to work on the asignment. Not mumbling a single word.

Adam saw Kaydin walk in and gave him a friendly wave. It didn't bother him the the boy went to the opposite side since things had been rocky with the battle lines drawn with him and Katie as allies and Nicholle and Kaydin on the other team. He really didn't think much about it but the other team seemed to put a lot more in store by it. When Katie started talking to him he saw what the professor was writing and put a hand to his lips before pointing at the board and taking out writing materials.

Margret and Alyssa Bates:
Margret sat at her desk looking over the papers the students had done over the day. She made a few more marks and then looked up to see her grandaughter walking into the classroom with a sheepish look upon her face. Shaking her head the older room leaned back in her chair and didn't bother to really say anything to Alyssa. She knew what the blonde was going to say.
Alyssa tilted her head and shuffled further into the room and set her things down on a desk. It was her free period and she was glad about that. Then again, she hadn't really shown up for class in a while anway. And that was why she was her. Jumping onto the desk she swung her legs bacl and forth eyeing the older women in front of her. "I know, I skipped your class today. And I'm so sorry about that Maggie." She covered her mouth relizing that she wasn't at home. It was so hard to get used to calling her grandmother professor. "I mean, professor. I was just so tired and well, I like this guy... and yeah." She mumbled the last few words out.
Margret let out a sigh as she listened to her grandaughter. When she heard Alyssa slip on the name, she couldn't help but laugh. "Don't make a habit of it. If you really plan on being taking my spot next year you should work on your grades and attendence to class." She let out a sigh and rose a brow after hearing the liking a guy. "And who might that be?" But Alyssa only shook her head in a very fast, swift motion.
