Thanks to the incident years ago he has become serious and quite emotionless though he does have a caring side he hides from others. He is rarely seen joking around and tends to follow orders completely. He has a deep hatred for Hollow thanks to losing someone close to him to them and as such tends to be very cold and standoffish towards them.

Physical Description:
He has a somewhat small build that he covers up with a somewhat loose fitting shinigami uniform. He has a blood red hakama-himo that holds his Zanpakuto to his waist. On his right hand he has two rings a gold one and silver one. The gold is around his pointer finger with some engraving on the inside hidden by his finger. The silver ring his around his ring finger with the kanji for sadness engraved on it. He has a pale complexion. He has black hair with piercing golden eyes that hold an emptiness to them one can only acquire from losing someone close to them.

Yukio's Zanpakuto's blade grows in length and becomes completely white with a small white tassel hanging off the bottom.
Purify
He can bend light around others to heal them of minor wounds. He can also heal them of major wounds if he concentrates hard enough though it can drain his reiatsu quickly if he isn't careful.
Despair
He can channel light and reiatsu from himself and his zanpakuto into the blade of his zanpakuto, making it glow brightly and increasing its cutting power. He can then either just use the blade like it is or release it as a wave.
Bankai:
Tenraihime (Divine Princess) - While in Bankai Yukio is in a full suit of armor and has increased defense, endurance, and strength.
Purify
He can heal others to a greater extent healing serious injuries and even purifying poisons. He can even regrow limbs if he concentrates for a long time though it drains his reiatsu rather quickly, but he can't revive the dead.
Despair
He can use a wave of pure light and reiatsu that can cause damage based on how much reiatsu is put into it. The wave now covers a wider area, but moves faster if released as a smaller version.
Extension Technique
He can focus light unto the end of his blade to cause it to extend at a fast pace. He can then keep the extension for a limited time to swing with greater range.
Surround
He can create a sphere of light around his opponent that slowly shrinks. Or alternately he can create a sphere of light around an ally that doesn't shrink and protects them.
Broken Blade Technique
In the event that the blade should break it doesn't break it shatters into tiny pieces, that turns all the pieces into light shards that fly towards his opponent(s) quickly. Yuki has no control over this ability and the shards move by themselves, but won't pursue the opponent real far.

Reiatsu Control/Sensing - He can control his reiatsu quite well which makes him naturally skilled in kido and can even hide most of it he can also sense reiatsu quite well.
Somewhat Flexible - He is flexible, but not super flexible.
High Strength and Endurance - He has unusually high strength and endurance for the Fourth squad.
Lightning Fast Reflexes - Despite lacking skill in Shunpo he has lightning fast reflexes that allows him to react faster than most.
Photographic Memory/Observant - He possesses a photographic memory and is quite observant and knowledgeable.
Fast - Despite not being able to use Shunpo he is quite quick on his feet thanks to his small build. This combined with dashing allows him to be deceptively fast at first appearance.
Bio:
Yukimura was once a normal child living in Karakura Town with lots of friends. His parents were well known actors and were generally well liked by everyone which helped with him making friends. One day when Yuki got home from school he discovered that his parents had been murdered by some crazed fan. The murderer then took the knife to Yuki killing him as well before he killed himself. Next think Yuki knew he woke up in Soul Society without any sign of his parents at all and completely alone.
He was found shortly after by some nice family and and went to stay with them for awhile. As he got older he became close friends with a brother and sister that were close to his age and entered into the academy with them. They each graduated with somewhat high marks and Yuki went into the Fourth Division and they went into the Sixth and Second Divisions. He quickly grew even closer to the now woman of the three and entered into a somewhat romantic relationship with her.
Years went by and things seemed to be going extraordinarily well and his girlfriend's brother was even excepting of their relationship. Feeling happier than he had in a long time he was quite content with things the way they were. While on a mission with them they encountered an Arrancar that proceeded to kill his friends and leave him for dead before he was saved. Since that day he has become a shell of the man he formerly was and has devoted his free time to getting stronger so that he could prevent it from happening again.
