Shimmering gold garland hangs on the walls and is wrapped around poles. Boughs of holly can be seen also. The floor is glittering red and green. The table with food and drinks is festive and bright with red, green and gold colors. What look like hundreds of large, sparkling snowflakes hang from the ceiling, glitter gently falling down like snow. It's a wonderful sight. Now let's party!

(to start first post! and is it formal???? o well im gonna asume it is and be wearing a formal dress.)
Cyndel walked in. Her green shimmering dress with purple swirls falling just below her knees. It swished as she walked out into the middle of the room and looked up. Glitter was falling in her long brown hair and she shook her head a little. No one was here yet so she went to a bench and sat back.

Forever proving: She doesn't give a s**t. Ara strode into the ballroom, her lacy skirt rustling around her legs. She adjusted the roses in her hair and looked around. There was only one person there, and it wasn't a boy. Well, She thought No chance of getting a date yet. I'll just have to wait. Bored, she decided to talk to the other girl there. Walking over, she realized she knew her, well, slightly. She was inn the Hermes cabin with her. Another unclaimed girl. "Um, hey. Hi Cyndel! You got nothing to do either, huh? Kind of boring when there's no guys and no noise." She lifted the shoulder strap of her guitar, and brought it over her head. She held the guitar by it's neck and sat down next to Cyndel. "You doing anything in particular tonight? Or even a date? I don't, but I hope to find one before I play. Oh, that's right, um, I'm playing the music for a while tonight. Hope you like crappy guitar music!"

Leo walked in through the door and stared in amazement at the beauty that surrounded him. "Wow" Leo said breathlessly. He walked around to see who was at the ball. No one he knew, thats for sure. He quickly seated himself and waited for people to arrive.

Forever proving: She doesn't give a s**t. Ara sighed, it always seemed that the unclaimed arrived first. She saw one of the new kids walk in. "Hang on, I'm gonna go introduce myself to that guy before he gets affected by some of the crazier campers!" She laughed and walked over to him "Hey, I'm Ara. I'm in the Hermes cabin with you. Don't you bunk two beds from me? You're Leo right? I vaguely remember the cabin leader introducing you." She started picking at one of the garlands "I could always show you around if you need it."

Zealot( already dressed) did a blow-up ( surprise entering!) with a head slide, and looked around not a lot of people he thought and couldn't find his brother.

Bobby entered the ballroom, wearing his tux, and sat down next to Leo, trying to see if he could make some new friends at this dance, and he looked at Leo and said "Sup"

Elizabeth walked in, head hanging low. Her gown didn't match her shoes and her eyes were red. After hours of crying her eyes out in the Hermes cabin, she had finally concluded that nothing good would happen to her at the dance if she didn't show up at all.
Elizabeth knew that at 13, and a young 13 at that, she was a lot younger than most of the campers and her odds of getting asked to dance were very slim. "If only they knew me," she murmured to herself sorrowfully. "If they knew me beyond my appearance I would be the most popular girl here."

Eric walked in dressed with black pants a black formal jacket with a shirt underneath that said 'this is my dress shirt'. He walked to a chair and mutterd" it sucks being unclaimed. I cant ask out a girl without the thoght that she might be my sister".

"well i am all ready embarised enoph now that i got claimed by aphrodite and im berlly anything like her, but hey might as well have some fun." walks over to ara " hey..... um...... Ara. Do you want to dance smile " he said with a smile.

"So, one question before we start. Have you ever danced with a girl before?" Ara asked quizzically, raising an eyebrow. "I want to know how experienced you are, that's all."

Eric looked at her with some embarrassment "Well i may have been to a few dances, with a few people, 1 or 2, ok 5 and i was prom king but i was new at that school. I dance , well, very well. lol So come on lets dance." Pulls Ara out and starts dancing with her

Zealot looked to see Cyndel sitting on a bench, he started to run there. When he got there, he sat beside Cyndel "You bored?" he asked looking at the boring dance.
