Well, how's this for extraordinary?
I am what many people call a Vampyre. No, this is not misspelled.
Most of us feed on energy; however, I believe even the blood drinkers do so to obtain energy in a way other than pulling it directly.
Not all of us are pale, gothic, and creepy. We have many people in every walk of life; some of whom do not even know this.
I am one of those Vamp's, though, that like to take on the Dracula archetype.
Debonair, suave, ladies man, dark, and awesome clothes.
Now, I've made this thread to allow others like myself to open up and speak of our experiences, meet with others, and for anyone who wants to learn more about the state of being and way of life.
If ANY of you humans dare insult me or anyone else who is brave enough to speak up about their vampirism, I will treat you like the insignificant blood bag that you are.

An energy vampire huh. I've heard of those, never actually met or talked to one. I would like to ask you a few quetions if you don't mind.

That, my dear children, is exactly what this thread is for.
Vamp's don't have to live any one way, but there is an underground community where people can speak to each other, meet others like us, and some like to RolePlay. The game, called Vampires: A Masquerade, was actually where the community came from, how it started. Vampyres met and discretely discuss Vampirism.

How do you drain the energy from people? Is it similar to tapping into the energy of nature, and if so does it work better if you physically touch the victim?

More or less. Not everyone has the ability to do so, though most do it without realizing. Its really quite fascinating.

I am starting to love this topic. It is really interesting.
Some times when I am exhausted and have no energy and there are others around me that is hyper I can re energize myself.

Actually, EVERYone has the ability to take in energy, most normal people do it without realizing it.
What makes vamp's different, is what we can do with that energy, and the fact that we can't get the energy normally.
All vampyres have some sort of repercussions from not draining energy. For instance, if I don't take in enough energy, I can get a VERY horrible, brain scrambling headache when I try to use the energy that I don't have.
I prefer not to take vital (life) energy from people. I'd feel way too guilty.
I prefer to take the energy I need from the universe as well as nature.
Because of this, I don't know very much about draining from humans. But, ask me in a year or so, and I might have to have drained from a human. XD

And that was even the first REALLY bad headache I've ever gotten.
It was like being hit with a sledge hammer straight on the forehead.

Hitokiri Tenshi Interesting, ho do you do it? I do that with nature. It helps when your out for a long run. I simply meditate. I imagine drawing in the energy from the ground, trees, and from the universe itself. It's quite easy, actually.

Probably.
There's a chance you could draw in too much energy, and it all goes to your head. XD
or you could also be using up all your energy in being hyper.
