A soft blanket of white fluffy snow fell across the dimmly lit city of New York, many of the flakes rested on the shoulders and heads of the many people bustling about the city, pushing one another as they passed in a hurry. The soft allumination that covered the city was cast from various areas, shops, business's and the abundance of christmas cheer lights that filled the city. Inside a small shop off the side of one of the more popular sidewalks sat a large collection of books, with small sitting rooms for customers to sit and read a book before they decided to purchase it. There were 3 sitting rooms, one near the front with the register, one on the far left of the room and one in the very back of the room, the back one was concealed by the many book shelves that spread through-out the store, each in sections.

Sitting in one of the 5 large chairs was a young looking man, with choppy black hair that barely passed his ears. His eyes were a bright golden yellow, they shined in the soft lighting of the room. He always sat in the back section, less kids comming by. A small book sat in his lap with one hand on it as he flipped page every few moments, his eyes slidding from left to right inside the book. His left elbow was rested on the arm-rest of the large chair, his chin sat on his knuckles and his mouth slightly parted as he began to space into the words and letters of the book. He suddenly blinked and shook his head a bit before letting it fall back against the chair, his eyes closed as his face looked to the roof of the building. "I need a smoke."
