Taylor ran into the kitchen to see that the fire was spread everywhere. She didn't know what to do.

Taylor closed her eyes to think. She raised up her hands, to push her bangs out of her hair, and bagan to lower them. Though she did not know it, the fire was going out.

When Taylor's hands were at her sides again the fire was extingued. When she opened her eyes she was stunned. There was little damage done to the kitchen, merely a burnt lunch

A small candle was left burning, and from there Hestia's face appeared.
"I claim you, Taylor Bentz, daughter of the Hearth."
A holographic ring of fire danced above Taylor's head.
"Now, my daughter, go tell Chiron of your claiming. The symbol will fade once he has seen it."
