Name: Merlin Ambrosius
Nicknames: Gandalf
Age: Freaking Old.
Gender: Male
Birth Date: Thought to be in early spring. He doesn't remember anymore.
History: The ancient figure of English legends, Merlin Ambrosius is best known as the mage advisor of King Arthur, an extraordinarily powerful wizard who protected the land and guided Camelot to greatness. Legends abound about what he did in his life, but most agree that he played no small part in the entire ordeal of Excalibur, against Morgan le Fay, and several other extremely notable events. Quote:
Wind rustled through the leaves of the forest as two stood in a small clearing. One was a woman, with midnight-black hair and an angry expression; energy crackled around her, ready to be unleashed at a moment's notice. Her clothes were of fine silk, with threads of gold sewn on to create beautiful patterns. The other was an old man, slightly stooped, who seemed to be keeping himself up mainly via his staff. "I warned you, old man, but you wouldn't listen. Then pay the price!" she flung out a hand, sending a torrent of power at the wizard.
The energy sent struck a barrier and vanished. "Ah, Morgan." the old man sighed out, shaking his head. "So much promise, so much potential, yet you squandered it all. Mastery of magecraft is not the same as mastery of magic, yet you act as if they were one and the same. You never did understand the true mysteries of the world." The woman, turning red with anger, held up several black gemstones that she flung at the wizard. They shattered in mid-air, unleashing a wave of black power that slammed into a prismatic field in front of the old man. "I'm afraid that I won't be giving you what you seek. As much as the world would be better off without you, I've seen a different path. You're simply no longer relevant, Morgan." the old man turned around and calmly started walking away.
"Get back here! I'll have your head, old man! I'll feed your entrails to the birds, mash up your eyes for jam! Stop walking away from me!" the old man did not turn around, and he did not look back... and he did not stop. Instead, he simply left the woman behind, to scream out her rage, as he went back towards Camelot.

~Appearance~
Height: 6' 4"
Weight: 165 lbs
Hair: White and totally unkempt, with a very long beard
Eyes: Cloudy grey; Merlin is technically blind. However, his blue Mystic Eyes' power, Second Sight, allows him to see not only the normal world in more detail than a human usually could, but things impossible to see normally.
Clothing: Long grey robes, made of wool, with a simple rope belt. Merlin's clothes are really quite simple, in contrast to his mastery of magical energies. He does not wear a floppy hat. Or any hat, really.
Physical Description: Old, wrinkled, but surprisingly well-built for an old man, probably as a result of the magic that has infused his body. His bones are still strong, though he much prefers to avoid physical combat.
Weapons Decription: As a Caster servant, Merlin does not rely upon weapons for fighting, but rather, uses his magic.
