there are two parts to this contest. the first is a contest and the second a giveaway!
CONTEST:
each person must post "::ENTERING CONTEST::" IN THIS TOPIC TO LET US KNW YOUR TAKING PART. then, recruit as many active members as possible. also, post once daily in the main forum.
the winner will have the most active members and a post for each day of the contest in the main forum. the post MUST HAVE CONTENT. write about your per cat, a hobby, ask everyone how they are today.
BUMPS, EMPTY POSTS, OR SENSLESS EMOTES WILL NOT BE TAKEN AS SERIOUS POSTS.
REGARDING RECRUITS: they have to put in thier join request YOUR SCREEN NAME OR THEY WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED VALID RECRUITS.
THE PRIZE:
FIRST PLACE: THANK YOU LETTER FOR SEPTEMBER 2008!
SECOND PLACE: 5000 GOLD!
THIRD PLACE: 2000 GOLD!
THIS CONTEST BEGINS ON DECEMBER 26TH AND ENDS ON JANUARY 30TH.

THE GIVEAWAY:
during the day of opening, the top ten most active members of ARK, minus the crew, will be recieving special gifts of gold, or items from their wishlists! so keep those lists fresh and get to posting and recruiting!
the top ten will be posted on january thirtieth, although gifts may be sent beforehand.

sorry johnny about the extension. we need to get some active members in here. otherwise I'm going to end up turning it into a hangout for just friends. seems like newbs just don't need help anymore huh?
