Some people are just flat-out mean for no real reason. Some are racist. Some have a grudge. Others just don't like you. Many are just having a bad day. And others...These people just seem angry.
Like the people who scream at you for just walking by. (Yes, this has happened to me before...)
Or maybe those who make up ridiculous rumors to ruin your good name.
How about the people who laugh behind your back when they think you're not listening?
Elementary school bullies, anyone?
Maybe they've come to some odd conclusion about your physical appearance or personality.
So, who here has been attacked in some way, in spite of never consciously provoking the attacker?

No it's a good topic, it's just that this guild has become not very active latley.
and I know what you mean about the bad attitudes...and being mean for some reason.
Like at my school, my freshman year, this girl was telling my friend lies, about me going to the office and telling on my friend for no reason...well my friend started hating me and was actually about to get into a fight with me...I really did go to the office that time, to tell the principal what was going on, and she called her into the office and told her that I had never been in there before and that, that was actually the first time that I had was in the office.
Sad thing is I don't know who this girl was, I didn't and I still don't and she hated me for no reason. I mean I know of her, through rumors and stuff, but I've never met her.
She also started this rumor up that I was gay and virtually everyone in the school believed it and that is not accepted where I live...well I don't care really, but alot of people just don't accept it. So I was laughed at and mocked and virtually over half the school hated me.
So I didn't have alot of friends and those who were my friends, were the best friends a person could have. They weren't judgemental like alot of people.
That's what I think people's problem in general is now. They're to judgemental.
Plus I hate rumors.
This girl was a trouble maker anyway...she was constantly getting into fights and stuff...

Sometime in my seventh grade year, some girl I didn't know very well started a rumor that I was... well, queer. She got most of the people in our classes to hate me, with the exception of my very close friends. I'm still friends with these people to this day. According to her, I was spying on girls in the locker room and such. Suddenly I got random girls giving me dirty looks and random guys begging me to make out with a girl. Gay guys are accepted fine in my area, but girls are practically treated like heretics. Y'know, rumors really don't do anything but cause problems. I still don't understand why people start them...

So one day he gets so pissed off that he tells his friends. "If i say run run." So apperantly they started spreading rumors that he was going to shoot up the school. Now tell me how you get im going to shoot up the school out of if i say run run. This rumor got so bad that they put the whole school on lock down.
This happened about a couple of months ago.

In all honesty, I am anti/non/a-sexual...I think it has something to do with people constantly making fun of me in High School...and growing up dad teased me every chance he got if I had a boy for a friend....so yeah, lol.... Also if they even knew me at all, I am slightly homophobic towards lesbians...Not in the "I hate them" way, but as in I really "Feel uncomfortable around them" way...I guess that's due to the constantly being made fun of too...I mean I don't really have anything against them, but the rumor was being spread around...I didn't really want to be seen around a lesbian because then I couldn't prove my point that I wasn't gay...or I would feel really uncomfortable if they tried to hit on me or something... The point I am trying to make is, I don't mind if one is gay, I just don't want to be drug into it. Does that make sense? Having said that I'm anti/non/a-sexual I would also like to say I am very sure that I am straight...I've had this huge crush on someone for almost four years now, and it's not their looks, I love their personality...lol...well he isn't ugly...haha xp but anyway I like carrying around pictures of my favorite actors with me..in the plastic covers of folders, all of which have been guys...hmm I wonder why(ponders)....and people still say that I'm gay? I really don't get it. sorry for the rant...Things like this tend to...tick me off...and just like my favorite commentator Glenn Beck I could rant on it all day...lol!

I didn't even realize he was gay until my sister told me. Heh... But yeah, I feel uncomfortable around lesbians. I used to talk to a lesbian girl on Gaia and it wasn't bad until she asked for cyber... Eww. Hmm...I can't help but wonder where these people get these notions and ideas. Well my gay friend and I had a talk about that...and he basically said that people like to spread rumors to drag others down low as they feel/are, basically...I can understand that...well actually I can't but you know what I mean.
But sexual orientation... I have no idea where they get all of their ideas from.
edit: I would feel really uncomfortable if I were asked that >.>
