It was a great morning, the sun was shining high but there was a cold yet pleasant wind blowing. In the forest a little far away from the city, the big pine trees were taller than ever, they were so full of leafs that it made the forest even more colder but the sunlight that was coming from small places made it look magical. There were some glades that if you were lucky you could find.
Silence.
The Sound of shooting and then, someone screaming: “ Another one!”

Nana was walking around in the Leisure District, holding the Naught and Versteckt with her. She was due to see Sivan later that night, but she had a few hours to burn in town before she needed to go to the Fire Butterfly. After a quick solitary lunch at Mona's, she wandered around BIT* for a while, watching the people play their games.

BIT* was as messy as usual, the crow was a mix between kids and ferocious teens playing like their lives depends on that. The smell of fresh meat flows in the place. A guy passes thought nana, he was holding a packaged that seemed to be a little wet. The lady on the balcony noticed and waved, looks like she were waiting for him. He gives the package for her and they talk a bit.
When he turned to the balcony lady, showing his back to nana, it was possible to see clearer a long packaged, coming out from his backpak, that looked like it were a sword… maybe a retract fishing-pole… a stick? Something like it….
…And small little eyes.

Nana watched the exchange silently, moving to the side to let people pass by her without complaining. The package was suspicious to say the least, along with the guy who was passing it on. She furrowed her brow and moved a little closer, looking like she was paying attention, hoping to catch a snippet of conversation.

Perhaps she was to busy to notice the two small round purple eyes inside the backpack that were just looking around randomly until the noticed what Nana was holding.
“ Usually I’m against hunting but I couldn’t say no, after all since I owe you so much. “ The guy said to the balcony lady, That opened a little part of the wet package and looked inside. “ It Looks great! I will put it in the fridge, maybe I could call you up when I’m about to cook it? “ she asked.
“Eh, no thanks. Duck tastes like rotten chicken to me. “ The boy added trying to don’t sound so rude.
“ Don’t say such things. And this long thing behind you is your gun? “
” It is” He said taking off his bag so she could see the long package that his gun was in, when he noticed the small eyes he put his hand deep in the bag and smiled un-easily. “ I-I gotta go ok? See you later!” he went away from her quickly and complained to the inside of his bagpack: “ Didn’t I say for you to stay inside?”

Nana was so surprised when she saw the eyes move that she missed the step she was taking and fell to the ground. She mumbled an apology to the people who were starting to stare, and dusted herself off, listening to the conversation. She could swear that you had to have a permit to carry a concealed weapon inside of any place, so she hoped that the guy had all the proper forms. Would it just be a disaster if he was searched and his little purple-eyed creature was exposed to all the world. Nana pulled open her purse and took out the Naught, making sure she hadn't hurt it in the fall. She stroked the wood lovingly, feeling the promise of something amazing just beyond her grasp. She hugged it to her, whispering that she was sorry, and that everything would be okay once she got her questions answered by Sivan.
"Just a little longer, little Naught. He'll be waiting for us tonight, and we'll find out what happens."

“ Are you ok?” The guy said turning to Nana. “ I don’t know how you managed to stumble but at least your box didn’t open, it would be a pain to catch everything. “ he said with a small smile. “ And you see that not everybody here is polite. “ he added looking around to people that didn’t even cared if someone had fallen or not.

She smiled to him, nodding. "Yeah, I'm fine. I just got surprised and lost my footing." She continued to dust off her jeans with one hand, the other wrapped around the doll. "And yes, I would have been upset if my box had broken. That lock is pretty hard-core, though." She made sure her hair was still in order, and looked back to him. "Politeness is slowly being bred out of our society today. The best you can do is try to keep it alive yourself." She held out her hand to him, "I'm Nana. How do you do?"

Zho walked into the bustling district, walking through but still carefully holding his naught and verseckt. He didn't want to lose them. It'd be -really- embarassing to show up to the mansion later saying that he lost the verseckt and naught. He wondered if Mei would kill him.. He hoped not! That wouldn't be fun at all!
He hugged the verseckt and the naught closer to his body at the thought, but was caught dead in his tracks when he saw a girl holding a naught just like his. Did she also have another one of those lost souls? He decided to hang back and watch. She seemed to be talking to someone and he didn't want to interrupt.

“ I’m Miles, nice to meet you. Actually I was just here making a delivery for a friend. And you?” he said and stopped for a moment to wave to someone that just passed by. ” “A locket that doesn’t want to open? I can fix that for you.” He made a pause. “ This box is quite familiar. I mean, not the box itself but the way it was made. “
Miles backpack shacked like there was something alive inside it. He smiled uneasily and poked it.

"It's a pleasure, Miles. I'm just wasting some time before dinner. It's a long way back home, so I'm staying in the area." She looked at him with her head tilted to the side. "What do you mean, you recognize the way it was made? I've been trying to open the box since this morning, but with no luck."
She squeaked as his backpack jostled. "What the heck? What is in there?"
She looked around, embarrassed by her noise, and saw someone else holding a Naught similar to her own. Her jaw dropped, and she waved him over, hoping he would come.

Zho, embarassed by the fact that the girl had seen him gawping at her and the other man, quickly turned on his foot and attempted to scurry off in to the crowd; the crowd had other ideas.
Despite his efforts to struggled past them, the crowd seemed to be going in the opposite way to him, slowly pushing him toward the two people he was attempting to avoid.
'No No No No No!' he furiously thought to himself, trying to find an opening to break through. He quickly checked behind him to see how far away he was from the two. and was surprised to find himself face to face with the exact girl he was trying to avoid.
"Um.. I meant to do that.."

Nana laughed, holding her hand out to him. "Nana. Nice to meet you. I have to ask you something, though. Is that a Naught that you have in your arms, or just a ball-joint doll?" She hoped deeply for the first option. It seemed that there was a lot going on oddly in the town, and she wanted to get to the bottom of it. Someone going through the same things would be a massive help.
"This is Miles. He's a nice gentleman with something moving around in his bookbag." She turned her attention back to the matter at hand. "What in the world is that thing?"

“ Eh... it’s my pet frog! That’s it! He jumps in his little container then my whole bag shakes” he smiled uneasily. Miles didn’t notice the other guy until he was in front of their noses and couldn’t help but to giggle silently to himself.
“ A box that simply won’t open? We can always try to kick it or maybe shoot, but now that you mentioned, where did you bought it?” The word ‘naught’ pieced his ears but he decided to remain quite about it.
A small hand coming from his backpack pulled the jacket on his shoulder.
In that very moment he was trying to find a tangible excuse for that little moving doll-hand, and was falling miserably.

Nana raised a brow. "Pet frog, huh?" Miles was uncomfortable, and she could see it. "I got it from a guy in the park this morning, a little curio stand. His name is Sivan, got and eyepatch and everything. Do you know of him?"
Nana noticed the hand, and patted Miles on the shoulder. "Yeah, a frog. What is going on? With the oddities that have been going on today, I'm pretty sure it won't be too bad."
