Hello. All of you ((I should expect)) are well aware of my name and status, but for our newcomers ((The Drakens)) I shall introduce myself. I am Subaku Anotov, alpha of Devoncroix, mate to Eyria of Devoncroix and father to Faust, Maryse, and Jocelyn of Devoncroix.
In an effort to get to know each of you better I have decided that this Monday the fourteenth of December, I shall be holding a weekly questionare called "Which is better?" It is an event that will pose you with one question and two opinion based answers. In your replies I want your truthful answer and a reason why you choose your answer. Disscussion is encouraged, but heated and uncivilized argument is PROHIBITED. On the Friday of every week I shall close the questioning and choose my favorite answer to said question, give the answerer a prize of 1000gg, and put the answer with the question in the "Past Questions" section. I will spend those weekends making up new and deeper questions, giving you more to think about.
Anyway, without further delay, let us begin this week's questioning.
Question 12/28/09: Which is better: To be afraid, or to be incapable of feeling fear?
Past Questions and my favorite answers. Week of 12/14/09 Q: Which is better: To commit an act and live in regret of it, or to choose against commiting the act and live in wonder of what results the act could have yielded? A: (By Experienced Virgin) "My answer is really that I would act, had I the balls to do so. There are often so many choices and actions that I could have taken that I regret not taking now. But I say it's better to take action. Everything in your life happens for a reason, we'll often make mistakes along the way, but that's what life is about. You ride your bike, you go down a hill, you fall because you try to do some cool trick, you scrape your knee, cry a bit maybe and then what happens next is up to you. You could go on your whole life regretting it and never doing it again, or you just try again and be happy that you're at least trying. There is never anything in your life that is thrown at you that your spirits or guides or God (which ever you prefer to call it) don't think you can't handle.
But on another note there are times when you shouldn't do things, because it might or will hurt the others around you. If that's the case then yes think of the people around you. Surely another opportunity will come up where you can take a risk without hurting the people around you.
So in short I am more for taking action. If you make a mistake or hurt yourself, then at least learn from it. A mistake is always a chance to learn. And is that not what life is all about? Just one big lesson."
Week of 12/21/09 Q: Which is better: To Lie and make someone feel better, or to tell them the truth and hurt them? A: (By Callisto Nightclaw) I think that it would be better to tell the truth even though the answer we receive hurts. Yours friends/family/etc. trust you enough to tell them the truth. So...why would you lie to them? If you get it all out to begin with, then you can take the time to repair the damage that's been done.

Q: Which is better: To commit an act and live in regret of it, or to choose against committing the act and live in wonder of what results the act could have yielded?
A: I would go against committing the act, I would fear before committing it that it would hurt someone, or something I care deeply for. If my life is perfectly fine before the choice, why change things?

Q: Which is better: To commit an act and live in regret of it, or to choose against committing an act and live in wonder of what results the act could have yield?
A: I would choose to not commit the act and wonder what the act could yield. I'd rather put myself in danger of something than to be a danger to someone else and wind up hurting them for whatever reason.

A: choose against committing the act and live in wonder of what results the act could have yielded. This is the story of my life so many exciting roads I never traveled for fear of hurting someone else,my mind is filled with fantasy upon fantasy of what could have been.Take for instants I had this teacher He wasn't hot but gosh he was adorable and had these gray eyes that just made my heart sing.We always danced around each other as if walking on egg shells for fear of ever being caught but the stolen moments were heart pounding the looks the small unseen carresses as wed walk by each other then there was the last day of school. The last time I would ever get to see him again, all the kids rushed out of the classroom happy it was summer but I sat in my chair the last.Slowly I stood and headed for the door he closed it before I walked out hugged me so tight and looked into my eyes. His lips barely brushed mine in a kiss but not a kiss.Asked if I would come back and See him...I lied and said I would.Hugged one last time then I walked to my buss Hugging my binder lost to thoughts of him..Life went on but still I have my fantasy at least. I chose to not do anything I didnt want to end up on the news or let him lose his job."

Q: Which is better: To commit an act and live in regret of it, or to choose against commiting the act and live in wonder of what results the act could have yielded? A: I would have to act. For what is life without risk. What is life without regrets? Actions and regrets are the salt and pepper of life. Wondering forever after what if's isn't an option for me. It would drive me insane. I would rather live fully, knowing, and even regret my choices, than to have never acted at all. Innaction is the poison that effects my life, and i'm tired of it.

Q: Which is better: To commit an act and live in regret of it, or to choose against commiting the act and live in wonder of what results the act could have yielded?
A: Commit the act. I can't see into the future, so I could not know that I would regret it. If anything, I could have envisioned the positive outcomes instead of the negative. To waste the rest of my life wondering "What if?" seems pointless. True, there are some times when I won't because of other conditions, but in general, I'd take the leap. That is what life is all about, isn't it? If we didn't take risks every now and then we'd be bored and have nothing to do.

A: To quote a famous dead dude, "t'is better to have loved and lost, tan never to have loved at all." So... I would say that to regret doing soming later in life is better.

ALL HAIL THE ANONYMOUS XD I'll not join in in this. I'll just say one thing about it. Do it. It's better to have done it and suffer the future than suffer in wonder of it.

Altaeris Legion ALL HAIL THE ANONYMOUS XD I'll not join in in this. I'll just say one thing about it. Do it. It's better to have done it and suffer the future than suffer in wonder of it. Someone noticed my sig c: Anonymous is Legion For we are... Many. And agreed, the suffering that comes with doing or committing an action goes away eventually whereas the suffering that comes from wonderment shall never pass, for it will always come back to haunt you in some way or another.

Q: Which is better: To commit an act and live in regret of it, or to choose against commiting the act and live in wonder of what results the act could have yielded? A: The true point to life is to Experience it and if you choose to not do something because it might be bad but it could be good then you will never experience life the way it should be experienced. Such as love others have stated If you love a person but you didnt want to ask them because you didnt want to get rejected then you will sit and ask yourself what if i asked them out....what then? and then you will feel like crap when someone else gets her or him instead of you.
Other points are to the fact that if you dont choose to go on a plane because you seen a plane crash on TV then you go drivng but then waste your weekend or something driving instead of flying to your destination you will ask yourself what would happen if I did. What if you saw a woman getting mugged in an allyway and you didnt want to stop because what happens if she turned and maybe just stole something from you or attacked you and seriously hurt you or something and istead of helping her you walk away not really caring then later you see that same girl on the news is dead and you think to yourself what if I helped her.
Basically what I am getting at is the fact that you should experience the good and bad to life because then you get the full experience and not just the good or just the bad a little of everything is good instead of a lot of all the good stuff or alot of all the bad stuff a little of everything over time is key to a happy life or so I think so.

Q: Which is better: To commit an act and live in regret of it, or to choose against commiting the act and live in wonder of what results the act could have yielded? A: Well since I don't like to have any of those life long what if kinda questions, have to many already, I would go for it, do the act, then live with the consiquences wether I regret them or not.
