A lot of things like Wiki or other articles or published studies were done by straight, cisgendered academics, not by queer people, so there may be an unintentional bias to them and there may be a gap in how well they understand what they're writing about, but it's decent info nonetheless.
Here's the
genderform. It's just a lot of the different things that people can identify as... A lot more than the usual female or male, straight or gay, cisgendered or transgendered stuff. Kind of gets you thinking about how your identity doesn't have to fit into a binary.
The first thing I thought of to link you to were these threads: Yaminon is a Gaia user and makes "ask a transsexual" threads in the GD. I totally don't know him at all and am thoroughly creeped out by myself because I had to search for topics created by him to find these, but his threads could be helpful to you, to just read about an FTM's experiences.
