Personality: He is intelligent and witty, and is intimately knowledgeable of Soul Society and its workings. He is one of the most mysterious Shinigami due to his constant smiling even when insulted. He has a heavy use of sarcasm and mocking politeness, makes it very difficult to discern his thoughts. Kiyen speaks with a distinct Kyoto dialect, which is polite but indirect to a person who he isn’t fond of. In battle he does not have a high level of mercy. You could be a child, a pregnant mother, or even a relative; if you ever decided to cross him then he will direct everything he knows into killing you. Despite having a mocking polite personality if he is fond of you which he is fond of all of his friends then he is quite the charmer and the comedian. He is known for picking people up when they are down which usually comes in weird ways. It can go so far as he embarrassing himself, making someone who he knows can take a joke look stupid, or if you’re a woman despite if you were to look like an alien, would compliment you until your face is starry with blush. It must be noted that Kiyen is oblivious to how people thinks about him. He doesn’t know when someone hates him, or is fond of him unless they spell it out for him. His favorite food is none other then strawberry candy. Whenever he is sent to earth then he will sneak some candy back in which he hides with in his barracks for his later cravings. It’s rare that you actually see an enraged expression on his face. It’s going to have to be something along the lines of death to himself or one of his close friends and he knows all to well about death. In battle then he could be viewed as slightly insane. He laughs when he is outmatched or outsmarted by a person. When injured he would pause the battle to point out how that really seem to effect him. Some people don’t like going to battle with him because of those mishaps but in true reality all these things are merely time consuming gestures that allow him to formulate an effective strategy. He’s a pretty crafty and cunning person. Lastly, a lot of men and guys in soul society label him as an a** kisser for women. Some guys go so far as to insult him on the matter. He is by all means infatuated with a beautiful woman and would have no problem letting them know in front of a cyclopean gaggle of people. He loves everything about a woman, and when he finds something attractive on one then he has to point it out. It has seen to be the same thing even towards an enemy which usually gets him the name flirt, or pervert. Even though he is infatuated with beautiful woman when known to settle down with one they are completely worshipped. Other then that there is nothing else known about Kiyen’s personality.

Physical Description: Underneath Kiyen’s black kosode is his white and silver shitagi or better known as his under-gi. His hakama of course is black the standard look of all of them except being cut slightly at the bottom. His hakama himo was from a friend who died in battle but the color of it is white and at the tip has a small trace of silver on it. He wears that very proudly. His tabi worn are white and his waraji are the normal brown, tannic color. Kiyen has golden alpha male orbs that just scream out for attention. Girls seemed to be keened to his weird eye color.His bright, aluminum ground length hair seems to match his peculiar eyes very perfectly and at the front of his hair is black. His build could be compared to a person who regular works out. Not anorexic skinny but lean with a fit build to it. His haori has no sleeves at all on it. It’s white with a tint of silver on the bottom layer of it.

Kiyen’s sealed zanpaktou looks like a normal brown wakizashi. Its appearance is made to look almost like it wouldn’t be effective. Of course, those swords have concealed with in them a shoto blade in between. The blade is about sixty centimeters. A regular looking samurai short sword.

Shikai: When Shikai is performed then Kiyen’s zanpaktou turns into rings on each finger. All the rings are white in color and the illuminate with an even brighter sallow color. They act as a sift (filter) system that actually purifies his spiritual energy but only located in the hands during shikai. The art relies on having a very refined and pure energy even if not much in amount, instead of enormous quantity of unrefined energy. Casting off what is useless and only keeping the bare combat essentials to create flowing entries of impact. Which means, each one of his hits come off as unsullied spiritual pressure. This makes use of very important factors. One, even if he is thrown off by a emotional balance, then seeing as how that pure energy will never change he can fight with that same emotional tenacity with such chaste power. The pure nature allows him to block zanpaktou with his bare hands due to the purest spiritual pressure in them which also allows him to fight off poison longer than others.
Pure Perseverance (Junsei Gaman)
Using the pure Spiritual pressure that resides in his hands then when placed on the part of his body that is injured then it allows him to ignore pain. No healing effect is taken but to mainly block the mind from that pain. This has caused him to believe that he doesn’t have a limit which is foolish but also to allow him to fight much longer then others getting the ultimate limit from his body. This technique leads him into brawl type battles.
Pure Wave (Junsei Shuuha)
Since the pure spiritual pressure is already concentrated in his hands then it is quite simple to mold it into a projectile to his liking. He must be careful to use this. Seeing as how his spiritual pressure is pure, using too much of it could cause recoil of him flying back multiple yards but in the long run, think about the damage that could do to a opponent.
Pure reinforce (Junsei Zoukyou)
With in his hands, his bones, muscles, veins, and ligaments are reinforced with that pure spiritual pressure making his physical strength with in them sky rocket. Allowing him to achieve terrifying levels of energy. Combining this, with hand to hand combat which is his specialty makes this his most dangerous shikai technique.
Bankai:Genshukan (Pure Breed Awakening)
In Bankai form then he will change completely into what a Pure breed of something would look His body is engulfed in a bright light where his transformation will take place. His long, silver, white hair will remain the same color with a slight glow upon it. His skin will simply just change to match the hair color as well. His eyes and pupils will also take on that same glow and a mask over his mouth will form as if it is protecting him from the outside air almost saying that it is not fit for this new body of his. With this change his whole body has become the pure state turning him into a pure breed. His previous skills can be used with a much more intensity and his filter of pure spiritual pressure increases in speed allowing him more pure spiritual energy.

This technique extracts a necessary amount of pure energy from the body and makes copies of his zanpaktou spirit. If they come in contact with you then they act as a pure explosion of energy hitting you causing a reasonable supply of damage. Each one has free movement but is faster if they are controlled by his hands. If one were to ever explode into him, then it would increase his pure spiritual pressure.
Junsei Onnen(Pure Hatred)
A skill that contradicts the very nature of his body. Pure energy enveloped with in the resolve to kill someone is his greatest attack. The hatred is enhanced literally around him in a sort of armor to protect him but cause a burning damage to his opponents. Meaning it isn’t wise to be touched by him in this state, at least your skin. This pure hatred type of reiatsu enhances the pure power with in his body which calls for a increase in his natural attributes.

Skills:Master Swordsmanship Specialist: Kiyen is a highly proficient combatant. In combat, he doesn't seem the least bit taken back by the abilities of his opponent, even when they seemingly have an advantage. His swordsmanship revolves around quick and surprisingly strong, accurate strikes.
Keen Intellect: Despite the way he acts Kiyen can easily surprise people with his actual I.Q. He just finds doing that very boring so he only does when he feels the need too. That said, his intelligence is among one of the top at soul society and also one of the laziest.
Shunpo expert: Kiyen isn’t the fastest but certainly not a slouch. He is only labeled as fast because he is known to dodge at the last minute with his flash step making him appear to be faster than usual. Which is not the case, he believes the shorter movement requires less energy allowing him to do it more.
Unmatched Agitator: He is known to be able to make any person mad he comes across or make them think that he is not at all what he appears to be. As a child this unique skill got him into a bunch of trouble but now it works as an enhancer to his skills.
Hakuda Master: Kiyen is a elite in the style of martial arts. He actually prefers to never use a sword in battle which most likely relates to his shikai and Bankai. He uses a unique style known as Northern Broad Strike.
Bio:Kiyen like others wasn’t born in the meji era but more or so born after the feudal war was over. So his life wasn’t hard but his family lived by rules. Rules that if broken would be punishable by death. Now growing up he had a strange liking to swordplay and hand to hand combat. It wasn’t because he was curious, but simply put, his mouth got him beat up a lot. He was known for swooning girls off there feet with his charming words but for some reason he always would go after the ones who were taken. Though, all in all he just wanted to make friends with every girl simply because he found them to be the most beautiful things god could have possibly made. Despite how he truly felt, it earned him multiple black eyes and sometimes even visits to the hospital because the person would try and stab him or do other unnecessary things to get there point across. On many accounts his mother thought he wouldn’t make it and cried her eyes out as he was in critical condition. He would awake every time and the doctor would bring her that smile that let her know that her son would be OK. To her surprise the gorgeous texture of his skin would always heal flawlessly. So even she grew worried to the point where if he didn’t learn how to defend himself then he would be killed sooner or later. She first would ask him was he serious about the martial arts because if so she would enroll him and everyday after school he would go including weekends until he became the best of the best. Of course this would interrupt his time with the ladies but after it was all said and done then it would pay off. The training begins the very next day and that is where he met his teacher. Now surprisingly she was the same age as him and like any other beautiful female he found her suffocating him with her elegance harboring the name Kena. They would become good friends and due to her teaching him it made him progress at a much quicker rate. Though in his alone time then he practiced his own form of kung fu that he was studying himself. He couldn’t just every limit himself to one form of fighting. By the time his attention was brought back to school then he had no reason to talk to any of the others because the very one who taught him how to fight was his soul mate. They soon started seeing each other and everyday they would train and then go out to eat. It could be classified as one of the greatest times he had in his life. Too bad soon it was going to come to an end. They both would graduate and decided to go to the same college. They were going to celebrate that night. As he drove over to pick her up then he could hear arguing going on and someone begging for there lives. His eyes widened and he ran threw the door where he was shot immediately in his chest. It was just the pathetic and scared reaction of a common burglar. Kena screamed out when he was shot as he lay on the floor. He came to rob them off something they didn’t have and never had possession of. He held the gun to Kena’s head and she would have disarmed them but her little brother was there and the other burglar was holding him hostage. Kiyen would look up and beg,
“Please, don’t hurt my Kena. I will give you whatever you want. She is telling the truth when she says that she doesn’t have what you’re looking for!” Blood poured from his mouth and what happened next would be a shock. The burglar asked him would he give his life for her. Of course blindly his answer was yes. He chuckled and shot her directly in the face. If tears could be described as an endless rain then that’s what Kiyen was experiencing. His tears and screams of horror seeing his lifeless soon to be wife dead was giving the burglars away and they too shot him which was the right thing to do because he was intending on breaking the rule of his family, the rule that said revenge is not permitted. That day Kiyen died but they would meet again. This is where his life as a soon to be soul reaper would begin.
After being revived with in the seireitei then that is where his new life begin. He still could feel the pain over his heart. How weak and pathetic he was that he could do nothing to save her or himself but actually he was happy that he too had died. He wouldn’t be able to bear living knowing that she wasn’t there. A voice projected beside him. He turned around with a face full of sorrow and there she was! A smile on her face was present. A giant leapt into his arms followed behind it. He couldn’t believe what had just happened. They really did meet in the after life. Kena kissed him many times over. It was good to know that her love was his here in this foreign place with her. Soon they would find out everything about where they were and how things worked in the soul society. After getting a good explanation on things then they found they both possessed spiritual pressure except this time Kiyen was showing much more potential. They both would enter the shinigami academy where the training would begin. They both would excel quick while Kiyen quickly was becoming a master of the Hakuda at least a master in his own right of being in the shinigami academy. They both seemed to be on a path of achieving high marks and doing it together. As much as the other captains tried to separate them and get them to work on there own saying it would be a faster process, they still failed to disconnect the two love birds. Once again In Kiyen’s life things would take a turn for the worst. In a hollow exercise that all shinigami have to do before they graduate his life would go cold again. During the exercise then they would stick together along with the others. There acting vice captain and leader of the current mission would be slain before it even started along with the other higher seats. Kiyen immediately grabbed kena’s hand and ran to a nearby corner. He was so terrified of losing her again that he didn’t want to help the others. She urged him to get up and fight. They were all allies in the battle and despite him loving her there lives were just as important. Of course soon Kiyen realized this and being the top Hakuda user in his time while in the shinigami academy then he would unleash an attack that would save over ten academy students. With that they all would try to make it back where reinforcements were. A giant hollow would land in front of them and charged up a cero. Kiyen turned back to the others and told them all to run and fast. He even told Kena to run and before she could say no with tears in her eyes. He promised her he would survive. She turned around and begun to run as tears poured down her eyes and released a kidou bakudo shield. The cero of course broke threw the shield and hit him with enough force to be sent down the training facility. His body was covered in blood but a smile was on his face. Kena could see from where they were hiding and the others were covering there mouths and holding her back. What would happen would crush Kiyen’s very soul. His bones were broke so he couldn’t move to even help. A foot from a menos would come crashing down on top of the ones hiding including Kena immediately ending her life but they both got to lip whisper a “I love you” before it actually happened. Once again he had lost his love which caused him to scream out. He would pass out and wake up in the fourth division making him the only survivor of a shinigami academy massacre. This made him special in the eyes of many captains. He couldn’t even remember the shinigami who saved him but lying next to him was the hakama himo that kena wore. Until this day he never removes it in loving memory of her. he quickly climbed up the ranks as a captain but soon left to attend to other things Like the O.r.d.e.r
