His loyalty was given to his master, but his heart never forgot that child, the only one who was kind to him.
In a small town, a faithful dog was owned by a cruel master. Like all dogs, this unfortunate canine couldn't help but be loyal to his owner; after all, that is a dog's lot in life. But one day, a young child appeared in that town, who coaxed the dog from the corner and petted his ears until he no longer cringed. It was only for a few days, but that time was the happiest of the dog's life. Then the child's family passed through, and the dog - who had been running away from home, to spend time with his new friend - was beaten to death by an enraged master. As he died, the dog wished that he could see that person who'd been kind to him.
Dying Wish: Be reunited with the child who was kind to him.

A brilliantly-colored blossom twists in the wind; the flower buds, the stem snaps, the blossom's colors fade.
They called her O-Cho, Miss Butterfly, because the colors of her elaborate kimono would fluttered like gentle wings as she danced. O-Cho was the premiere draw at the Midoriya teahouse, a true geisha: Trained in the arts, beautiful and intelligent, yet she fell for the words of a charming nobleman. When her pregnancy was discovered, O-Cho was cast out from the teahouse and abandoned by her lover; she was left with no other choice but to die in disgrace, her body covered over by the white snow. She and her unborn child died, this woman whose real name was not even known, and the colors were leeched from her tattered kimono as though they were freshly dyed; yet, in her mind's eye, the colors were yet unvarnished, and she was able to dance once more.
Dying Wish: Regain that status as a dancer of renown.

He used to draw magic from the black-and-white keys, but when they fell silent he too fell still.
Although he was one of many orphans living penniless on the street, he was a prodigy at the piano; he played in small bars and in coffee-houses, wherever his music could be heard, until one day a patron of the arts offered to let him play in the opera-house. But during the wet Spring the pianist fell ill with chills and fevers, a cold sweat creeping over him in the night; soon he was coughing blood, and his fingers shook so hard that they could barely press the keys. The disease was swift in his ravaged body, and the pianist died before the performance that would have made him famous. Yet, his last thoughts were filled with music... His masterpiece, which he had not been able to play.
Dying Wish: Play his final song in front of the audience he'd imagined.

Velvet and lace hid a fragile face; through her window she saw an ordinary boy, but he was always out of reach.
She was young, delicate, and pretty as a hothouse flower, raised away from the harsh world by protective parents. Alone with her dolls and her stuffed animals, she sought refuge in books and styled herself a princess, who thanks to her parents was able to indulge her love for the 'gothic lolita' style. But behind her pale face was a shy heart, who hid herself behind a facade because she was afraid of the world. Through her window, she would see a boy her age pass her house almost every day, and she would write him letters which she hoped she'd one day be able to give him; but her delicate health gave out before she could, and the little princess was never rescued from her tower.
Dying Wish: Become brave enough to admit her love to someone.

From a land of mist and green, a mother's last keening was over the bodies of her children.
In China, pandas are revered as national mascots; because of this, a mother panda was allowed to live her days in slow, lazy peace. It was only her and her cubs, and as animals do she did not think about what could come. One day, Men entered her territory, and although the mother herded her children into the safety of heavy brush; although she fought the Men with all of her bulk and strength; in the end, a single panda is no match for Men and their guns. She lived long enough to see the little bodies of her cubs flayed of their pelts, and - as few animals can do - her anger and fear become hatred. In her last moments, she wished for revenge on those who had ruined her family and home.
Dying Wish: Be revenged on the hunters for killing her and her children..
