History: Artemis was the daughter of the God of the Sky, Zeus. She was born a day ahead of her twin brother Apollo. While still a child, she crawled onto the lap of her father and begged of him six wishes. Her first wish was that she woul;d remain a maiden for all her days, the next four all being connected were: Lop-eared hounds, Stags for her chariot, and companions to be her hunters, Wood Nymphs and Water Nymphs. She then also asked for a bow, so she could hunt in the World of the Mortals. She guarded her chastity clsoely, and forbade any of her companions to mate with men, or even to lay eyes on them. She participated in many of the greatest events of Greece, although generally she did her actions from a hidden place. She preferred the quiet of the hunt, and disliked the grandness of Mount Olympus. During her life as the Goddess of the Moon, she was worshipped by many in the land of the Mortals, and was known to be kind to those who served her well, even some men, if they were strong enough to stand the burden. However, of all those to serve her, only mone man was able to enter her chambers without her instantly turning him into a deer or other beast. This man, named Markus, was very loyal to her, and because of him, she knew that it was perhaps time to let the world move on, without her. She was troubled by the feelings that he caused her to feel, and so in order to prevent herself from falling, or hurting him, she left to keep watch from afar. She left her noble phantasms in the hands of Markus, and so they remained on this earth when she disappeared. She stayed a Goddess, but also joined forces with the Conscious of the World, Alaya, so that whenever the time came when she was needed, she would come.

Weapon: Bow, double long knives
Personality: She is definitely a royal figure. She rarely shows emotion, and she judges things as if her word was final. She can be very cold, but when she knows someone, she is very kind and friendly. She, unlike in the legends, did happe nto have friends that were male, and her closest companion, while not her lover, was male.
Special Ability(s): She is able to detect movement very well, with any of the senses. Her reflexes are incredibly sharp. She is a Counter Guardian, so she has an inordinate level of prana.She is also a Goddess, which means she can't ever "die," however, because of the rules of the Holy Grail Wars, if she loses she will return back to her citadel, and await the next opportunity to go back to earth.

Bow of the Moon ~ A++ ~ (Anti-Fortress) This is her main weapon. It shoots a very fast, powerful silver arrow. It has a maximum range of about 300 meters, effective range of 100 meters. If the opponent is within 30 meters, they would be veryvery hard-pressed to dodge it. She is capable of using this ability 10 times before she has to recharge. The time that the recharging takes varies on the situation. Generally it takes about an hour to fully charge. She generally uses her daggers first.
Anaktos (Her daggers) ~ C ~ (Anti-Personnel) These are basic melee weapons. They have the ability of giving her enhanced reflexes.
Agnotita (Her beaded necklace, that she wears at all times) ~ EX ~ (N/A) The only reason this is an EX skill is because it gives her the ability to disobey her master's command seal if it goes against her personal wishes, or the desires that are driving her to win the holy grail. Agnotita means Purity in Greek, symbolizing her disobedience she showed towards her father, dealing wiith marriage. This isn't to say she's disobedient. This ability only pertains to the things that may cross against her desires. The only reason it is considered EX is because it is of a magic stronger than that of the master, and of the 'true' magic used during the command seal release.

Clothing: She generally wears her hunting gear, which consists of a light tan colored tunic, brown leather jack, and green cape. She wore tan pants as well, made out of a polymer that was light, but also surprisingly durable, perfect for hunting. When not in this garb, she wears a simple white dress with a light blue belt. She wears a silver circlet while in this form. She wears the beaded necklace at all times.
