What was the most tear jerking moments?! Mines was when Nagisa's hand fell onto the bed and Tomoya was crying. Oh and whenever they would talk about Nagisa or when Tomoya would be sad. D:

Everyone's arc Fuko, Kotomi, Sunohara, and Nagisa. Kyou's route was boring.

I read some spoilers, so I knew some of the critical stuff that were coming up in the episodes as I watched.
-Nagisa's death after giving birth to Ushio, while Tomoya held her hand. (The ring was very symbolic) -Tomoya apologizing to Ushio for being such a terrible father in the Sunflower cape. -The way back on the train when Tomoya was telling Ushio about "Mommy". The tearjerking part. -Weird thing is I did not find it very depressing when Ushio died. I presume it was due to the spoiler I read.
I was although still sad after the end.

When Tomoya and Nagisa forgot about Fuko. Then when they were talking to Koumura sensei they remembered her, and she was standing there... cry For some reason, that's that part that got to me the most. crying

I found his little mind-trip thingy after they died to be a tear jerker, not Ushio's death. (I have a thing for mind trips, like Evnagelion.)

For the sad parts for me...
3. Miyazawa Yukine bringing her brother to stop the fight from happening...
2. Kotomi's teddy bear present from her parents...
1. The only places where Ushio is allowed to cry...
I think out of every scenes of the show, these three were the most heartfelt.
My view is that it isn't the sadness of tragedy, but the lesson of redemption that brings the most powerful emotions out.

I will take this time and tell you guys where I teared up in Clannad & Clannad Afterstory Part 1.
Clannad: Fuko's arc; Where everyone remebers Fuko and arrived to her sister's wedding. Do you know how sad that was?! crying damn..
Clannad: When Kotomi opened the suitcase and got the bear. While she was reading the note from her parents, that was really sad. crying
Clannad: When Akio rushes in and yells to Nagisa when she was crying in her play. Damn did I tear up bad. crying
Clannad Afterstory Part 1: Sunohara Sibiling's Arc: When Mei was in the hands of that soccer player and Youhei rushed in and kicked him, yelling, saying things about not bullying her sister. etc. Sad indeed. crying
Clannad Afterstory Part 1: When Tomoya told Misae about the promises Shima said back then. It happend at the same place like back then, pretty sad. crying
Clannad Afterstory Part 1: When the gangs and everyone was around Yukine's brother's grave, the gangleader realized what they have done and so he put his hands together, that wonderful sad music came into play, and soon everyone else was putting their hands together and prayed. That was touching. crying
**Do you guys agree that the music is very important to the sad/emotional scenes?**
I wish I had a soundtrack of all those songs from Clannad/Clannad Afterstory.

Still though, I'm still saying what kinda cheapened it was the "That's what would have happened" ending.
Like that Family Guy episode where Stewie finally kills Lois, but then later you find out it's a simulation of what would happen if it happened.
