Journal ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ First Today, I went out to all the places in Wunschenhimmel! It was pretty cool for the most part, but.. When I got to the theatre. Things got wierd. Really fast. I found this doll in the piano, and then this blonde-haired maid blustered through and broke the curtains! She said that she was looking for the doll, so I tried giving it back to her. But instead she said that she was gonna give me a box! and that the doll had unfinished business or something.. But even stranger than that is I -took- the box! I can't stop thinking about it. I dont think the doll has left my hand since I've come home. I've tried opening the box but I can't. I guess I need a key? The maid said that I should meet her at that big mansion across Wunschenhimmel. Maybe she'll give me the key there.. I hope so. This thing is driving me nuts!

Second
Woah! So I went over to that manor like the maid told me to with the naught. (I was sort of scared. So I made sure to bring my phone as well. Just in case) She flustered me into the sitting room and before I knew it. I was standing in London! Old London! And I saw this little kiddy running into some piano shop. So we followed him in (I was still in shock) and he seemed to fall in love with a piano instantly. It was great! He walked over to it and started tapping the keys with those small, frozen fingers of his, and his love seemed to deepen! Before I knew it he was there playing away with the piano, a crowd densely filling the shop watching in awe, and when he stopped. The clapping! Everyone was clapping and cheering for him, his small face seemed to be filled with joy over it. But things sadly got worse from then on..
The room turned again and I saw him lying in bed, his body ravaged with sickness and cold, shivers running through his body. The doctor told him he couldn't help him anymore, but I saw him trying to play something even though there was no piano there. I think maybe he was going to play his music in front of a huge audience, His true dream! And then he started coughing up blood, it poured from his mouth in large torrents.. It was.. terrible.
I will help him. I will. And nothing will stop me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Under lock and key Zho set the piano-illustrated box down on the desk in front of him, his chair scooted up right beside it. He took in a deep breath, held it, then exhaled, his eyes falling closed for a brief moment. He knew he had to do this, but wasn't sure what to expect. Nana told him about it at the party (if you could really call it a party..), about the soul sphere and the emotions you experienced. Zho definitely cared about the soul, and he felt he could handle anything the pianist threw at him, as long as he was able to help him in the end. He would do anything.
Zho touched the edges of the box, chewing on his lower lip. In all honesty, he was pretty scared of what might happen if he opened it, what if there was a monster in there along with the soulsphere! A monster with TEETH! He quickly shook away these thoughts and dragged his journal in front of him. "Dear anyonel" He wrote, pausing for a moment to chew on the pencil he had picked up "If I am found bitten to death. Make sure you get a big monster net. And check the box, it could be still in there.. He wrote, pausing for a moment then scribbling the words out. There wasn't a monster in there, and even if there was, Zho would have no problem squishing it if it meant he could get closer to helping the pianist. He picked up the key that he was given that he had laid next to the box, he ran his fingers over the strange bumps and spikes on the key, it was a very intricate key, it had to be to stop people from trying to make fake ones and getting at the soul inside. Though Zho couldn't think of anyone who would want to steal a soul. Unless they're the devil. Zho hoped the devil didn't want the pianist's soul. Because the Devil had horns and Zho only had ears. But Zho would smite him anyhow!
Zho, without thinking (thinking would entail more irrational fears), slotted the key into the versteckt, quickly whipping his hand away. giving a sigh of relief that the key fitted. Imagine if it wasn't the right key! that would be embarassing! He placed his hand on the key again and turned it quickly, the lid popping open (giving Zho quite a shock). Zho closed his eyes in fear, bracing himself for a full-on monster-tooth attack, but was relieved to find the only thing in the box was a small sphere. A soul sphere no doubt, Zho was elated to find the sphere in tact, the pianist would be okay! and he had gotten past one of the crucial parts of letting him realise his dream without any bite injuries!
Zho carefully picked out the soulsphere with the tips of his fingers, 'Nana said to keep it close to your heart..' He thought to himself, he thought for a moment about where he could put it, when it hit him! He snapped his fingers in happiness at the idea and quickly took out a small length of clear cello tape, he pulled down the collar of his chest and placed the soulsphere where he thought (roughly) where his heart was, he then fastened the cello tape on it, staring at it happily in the centre of his chest, he then lifted the collar again carefully, not to crush the soulsphere or anything. He snapped the box of the versteckt shut and put it in one of the drawers of the desk. Thinking he may need it later.'Well.. That's the end of that!' ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Third Hey guess what! People turned up to that party I set up! Those two girls from the square were there too, Nana and Giger, and there was another one called Dooma, they all had naughts and Giger and Nana opened their versteckts! and it had a little ball, so I opened mine and mine had the same type of ball in it, except it was blue! (and there were no monsters in there! Uber-bonus!) but then Giger told us her Naught's wish.. Which sort of scared me. It wants to kill people! And Nana said that she would help! Why!? What if it's relatives were good people, what if she knew one of them? I don't know.. it all sort of.. unnerves me.
-Zho~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fourth Today I went out to see wunschenhimmel again with the naught, it was fun I guess. I went back to the opera house (under a cunning guise of course, didn't want to get given out to like last time! that was terrible..) and the soulsphere started reacting crazy! I suddenly felt such a strong desire to play that piano, I manage to fight it (there was a show going on!) But I don't think I'll be going back in there in a while. I was thinking about talking to Mei about trying to give the naught the soul-sphere so I can finally meet the Soul! And maybe even figure out his name! That'd be awesome..
-Zho~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Awakened Symphony Zho sat down at the same desk he used to open the versteckt and slowly, carefully unstuck the sticky-taped soul sphere away from his chest, he wasn't sure how this bonding would work. But he had the faintest idea how it might. His haltia was a pianist, so maybe his keyboard would stimulate the soul fusion. He figured it couldn't hurt. Unless there was a monster in the soul sphere..
'God-damnit Zho there are no monsters!' He thought to himself angrily, frowning at himself sternly and quickly shoving his hands down on the keyboard. He placed the soulsphere beside the naught before he shoved them down, placing it right beside it's head. He pressed down on the keys tentatively for a moment. Any melody or song that he had known before had miraculously slipped his mind so he sat there for a few moments, trying desperately to drag out any tune he knew, then one hit him. One of the first ever songs he had learnt on the piano. Claire de Lune by some old composer, Debutty or something like that.. The composer wasn't important though. The song was.
His hands slowly began to flutter over the keys, playing the song's slow, sombre tune. A song that seemed to be the complete opposite of Zho, but at this moment it felt right. As he glided through the song he noticed something, the soul sphere began to glow, but Zho did not falter, he continued powering through the gentle tune, until the glow of the soulsphere was so bright he couldn't see. But he was still playing. His eyes slowly adjusted to the bright light and he saw him. Floating there, the soulsphere slowly filtering into him, his facial features becoming more obvious and clothes beginning to form on his thin frame. Zho then noticed he had stopped playing, but the tune still echoed in his ears, as the young pianist prodigy's eyes slowly began to open.
"Wh.. Who am I?" the floating young boy said, his eyes looking into Zho's with puzzlement and fear.
"Who are you?" He asked, now looking over Zho more carefully. Zho was stunned by what he saw, and so scrambled for words desperately, trying not to scare him off.
"I am Zho.. Your guardian, and you.. Well.. You're a pianist" Zho said, still uncertain of the person now floating ahead of him. "Don't you remember?". The pianist fell on top of the desk with a soft thump, though didn't seem to notice, he still looked quite flabbergasted and found everything very unfamiliar, but suddenly his eyes snapped open as a sudden wave of understanding washed the questions away. "What am I doing here?" He asked urgently getting to his feet and fussing around the desk, even though the desk was completely bare. Zho reached out to him, but stopped half-way, knowing that grabbing him maybe not be the best way to go. "Don't worry" Said Zho "Everything will be okay. I'm here to help you." The pianist turned to Zho his lips quivering for a moment "Help me do what? I'm going to die.. The doctor said so.. I can't perform at the opera-house.. Do you have a cure" He said, looking at Zho with eyes full of hope. Zho got up and sat on the desk beside him, chewing his lip fearfully.
"..You died already and many years have passed since your death. But you have been given a second chance, a second chance to perform your masterpiece. I have been given the task of helping you do that, and I will." Zho said, his eyes showing complete and utter determination. The pianist looked up at him and recognised his determination with a smile, "Thank you.. Thank you so much.." He said, looking down at the ground, tears at the back of his eyes. "But why are you helping me? I mean.. I'm an orphan. A poor orphan. I have nothing to offer you, I have no money." He sighed "If you seek payment and would like not to help me.. I'd understand." Zho frowned, and poked at the boy's shoulder, the boy raised his head glumly, a sad picture painted on his face. "I don't need money. I'll help you because I want to. I'll help you because you deserve it. People with as much talent as you should not go to waste, and don't forget that!" Zho said, the tiniest bit angrily but all the pianist did was smile. Zho's angry face melted away into a smile as he saw the pianist's smile.
"I'm Zho" Zho said, shaking the haltia's hand
"I'm.. Bentli.." The boy said, his gaze returning to his feet. "It won't be easy you know.. If you ever go back on your offer it's okay, really. You shouldn't push yourself too hard." Bentli said, Zho let out a loose chuckle and smiled at Bentli "You don't give up do you?" He said, and they both began to laugh. Like old friends.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
