Cavalier Name: Cavalier Anima, The Faultline
Name: Avon Murry
Nicknames: None yet
Gender: Male
Age: 18
School: Meadowview
Fav. Food: Chicken, it goes with everything, in everything, and can be made in so many ways how can you not like it!? Except fish, it should never be mixed with fish or any other seafaring meal.
Hated Food: Seafood, it’s too fishy and even then it’s rather bland!
Hobbies:
Table Top War Games: This isn’t your grandpa’s board games, it’s all about warhammer 40k. Avon loves the thrill of building an army to test against other players. Stretching numbers and abilities and then heading to the field (table) of battle and using careful planning to move his army into order. For specifics he runs a Space Marines army, Space Wolves in particular. His choice in this being the lore that they take from Norse and Viking legends, strong and bold they stand strong against any challenge thrown against them. Plus beards are manly, and that makes them 10 times more badass in a fight.
For Avon the best part about Warhammer is the ability to see the field and plot out his attack from the start, choosing the most logical march towards the enemy lines with a light peppering of plasma fire to soften the enemy ranks before the final rush. A few well placed Psyker attacks and all will come together nicely in the end.
The only problem is what will happen when his army is scattered? The blessing of warhammer is the slow pace of turns, this gives Avon some time to re-group, but if it's one thing he isn't good at, it's a recovery after getting scattered and blasted across the field. In which case plan B. A mad dash to the enemy lines and a pray to the dice gods to let this reckless attack pay off.
Card Games (Magic The Gathering): If warhammer leads to one thing it's hobby shops, and hobby shops are the gateway to all kind of games and addictions. Much like how he would play in Warhammer he would do the same in Magic. Straight forward, fast, and hard. His current decks are a Goblin Beat Down, and a Vampire Beat down, both decks featuring cheap creatures and a few supporting spells. It all started with a few curious questions during a Thursday at the gameshop when a few casual players came by, a month later and Sorrin was bouncing between matches of Warhammer and casual card games.
Lacrosse: While his parents don't mind his love for strategy games they wanted him to get out of the basement and the house, put the game system down as well as the codex and get some fresh air. So they pushed him to try sports. Football was too brutish, baseball was a bore, track and field even worse, and basketball he just tripped over the ball between his feet when he dribbled. So finally he picked up a lacrosse stick and found 'hey, I get to hit people with a stick! That's cool!' Currently he plays second string defense, he has a habit of sometimes getting a little lost in the moment. Sometimes sliding too early hitting a man acidently leaving an opening. He's no terrible player, but he needs to control his desire to go for the big hit before he can ever think of becoming first string for the team. The coach goes nuts over it, and his fellow teammates tend to forgive him so long as no goal is made. (And it makes for a good replay)
Virtues:
The Bold and The Brave: Nothing to fear, Avon is here! Be it staring down a test, a bully, or an army of Orks in 40k Avon will have a grin on his face, and a thirst for victory. He has no fear for a challenge and will do his best to instill such a mindset on those around him. Even if odds seem against you, everything has a chance to go your way and Avon is bold and crazy enough (or stupid enough?) to shoot for that chance and bring others along for the crazy ride.
Regardless the situation Avon will try to get others to tag along, be it for help, or for fun. People will disagree, and if they do it's their choice Avon will tsk twice turn tail and march off with a grin on his face reminding them that they decided not to join in. He's young, he's now a Cavalier, in his mind (at least till reality catches up) he's imortal. Though situations that go horribly astray will cause him to shy away from plans that first got him into a loosing situation. It's one thing to be brave and bold, it's another to be stupid and try a fourth time, after a plan failed the first three times. (Or less depending on how gran of a failure it was!)
Man With a Plan: Everything works if you have a plan, it’s guaranteed. Asking Avon for advice is always a good laugh, and sometimes worth it too. Somewhere between his strategy games Avon thinks he has a plan for everything and is more than willing to share them when people ask. (Warning: Just because you think you have a plan doesn’t mean it’s a good one… that’s why we refer back to plan B!)
In reality Avon is best suited for planning ahead with a good clear idea of what he want's or is supposed to do. Like with Warhammer he enjoys plotting from the start, and so long as things go by the plan Avon is perfectly content. Once that plan goes astray though he will try to rally the force to continue on. But it can't go on like that forever... (See Till The Last Man)
Friend of a friend and that guy from class: The more the merrier right? Avon is open to meeting new people and trying to make new friends, you never know when someone you met could give you a helping hand later on so offer them a hello and a handshake.
Be it as a Cavalier working with the scouts and Cavaliers, or as a civilian Avon always tries to make friends when given the chance, power in numbers is always a key in warhammer, and it works in real life too. Need a web-page designed, see if a friend or acquaintance can teach you how. Need help thwarting an evil negaverse plot? It helps to know a senshi working in a team, bring one you might get three more tagging along all simply to help a friend and that's going to make saving the day a lot easier when you have a pool of powers to work with.
Flaws:
Till the Last Man Standing: You will not retreat, you will not surrender, Avon does not know what it means to simply walk out in the middle of something. Cutting your losses means letting them win, and if they won, you lost. Plain and simple, and damn near suicidal. It takes others around Avon to convince him that enough is enough and even then this will crush him, because he wasn’t able to give his all even if it meant just screwing himself even more.
Short of knocking him out, Avon needs to be shown the losses first hand, seeing the lines thin and the people around him dropping down will cause him to panic, he will try his best to be brave and continue to fight, but his attacks will grow panicked, his eyes flickering about in panic trying to find a way to rally the troops. Should he fail to find a way to gather his troops on the fly, he will have to retreat, but expect to find a shell of the brave Cavalier who once lead you into battle.
Crushing Loss : Even when the odds are already against him to begin with, even when all signs of failure stood before him and warned him that the one reckless shot they had would probably fail, he will take it as a crushing defeat, and even worse when victory was so close to him! For all his swagger and cheer about coming out in the green he is not the person to ask for moving speeches after a lost cause. Often the swagger and cheer will be replaced by silence and a state of confusion, usually lasting a few hours to a day, but some mistakes, they could haunt you forever.
Once in a slump it usually takes some good news, or another win to pick the spirits of Avon up, the win doesn't need to be his own, but give him something to celebrate. As he works with his other Cavalier's the time it takes to bounce back will get shorter as he surrounds himself with peers who will do their best to help him forget his mistakes and help him make the right choices next time.
Thirst For Glory: With every victory comes both joy and a hunger, a joy for the triumph and victory over something, as well as a hunger for something more past that victory. This is a dangerous hunger, one that can easily be turned against Avon. It is not the same recklessness of someone rushing into battle unprepared, it’s the carelessness of someone who has won and seeks to win more and more till he makes the mistake of over judging his power, and that can be the start of some of the greatest defeats anyone will ever face.
Just like in lacrosse he get's too excited once in battle, all the planning in the world is great, and once a plan comes to a close, a well done charge having done it's job Avon will try for more. They may have captured a negaverse agent, but Avon will suggest going after the other one who is now in a hasty retreat simply because they can.

Additional Info:
What is a Fault line?
A fault line is a separation or crack in the Earth's crust. It is the line where two or more of the tectonic plates in the Earth's crust butt against each other. An earthquake occurs when these plates move against each other. The amount of force applied will determine how powerful the quake will be.
Two or more plates: Represent the ends of enemy forces standing before each other, Anima stands on this line facing his opponents, based on the Brave and the Bold.
The Earthquake: The battle between the Senshi and the Negaverse, the chaos of this battle and the results of it.
The Force: These are the ones who cause the earthquake, the Senshi and the Cavaliers who Anima leads’s the charge against the Negaverse Lt. and Generals. The force is always larger of course if you have friends (Friend of a Friend)
To me Anima strikes me as a figure standing on the front of the battle field calling out for others to join in the battle a beacon of light that will head the surge forward to crash against the enemies of good and justice.
PS: Half cloak to the waist, so he can make dramatic flourishing gestures with it as he points towards negaverse scum calling them out for defeat.
