 Cole Jeffries is an Arizona gunslinger who witnessed the massacre of his parents and friends by the Apaches when he was fifteen. He was 'rescued' by Hector Pemberton, who took him under his wing. While with Heck, Cole got it in his mind that he was a good gunman, fast at 'skinning leather'- and he was. He got into a fight with one Jake Barlow, and ended up killing him. Fearing retribution, Cole fled to Mexico.
It was no coincidence when Heck started hearing about a strange, yellow-haired gunman down in Mexico, not known by his real name- only as El Diablo Dorado, the Golden Devil. It was rather funny that when Cole returned five years later, El Diablo Dorado disappeared.
Cole settled down with Heck again, living in his Bordello (Whorehouse) called Hanratty's. He fell in love with one of Heck's "spoiled doves-" a girl named Belle. He is trying to settle down and get away from his past- he is trying to start anew. But quite often, his past resurfaces... with gunshots and blood, he his forced to remember. No matter how hard he tries to start anew, his past always returns to haunt him. You just can't hide from El Diablo Dorado.
With Hector dead, Cole is now trying to save Kid Donovan's stupid tail, the dumb kid that can't seem to stay out of trouble or keep his mouth shut about the gold in the mines... Too bad for Kid Donovan, though, because Cole's trying to save his own hide too, right now.
The state Law is out looking for Cole, and so are the bounty hunters. Worse yet, so are the people he has wronged in the past, and none of these people will be trying to take him alive. What could he possibly do?
For this, we'll need people willing to be Belle and Kid Donovan- further elaboration on these roles will be provided in the post below.
Note, this RP takes place in the mid-1880's.

Cole Jeffries

Personality: Cole is usually found brooding. He has a mean temper, but is a laugh when he is drunk. He is a passionate lover- only for Belle, though. He is very stubborn and crude, and enjoys making people mad.

Personality: Kid Donovan knows he is smart- well, kind of. And he lets people know it. He is, however, not so knowledgeable about life in the West. Despite coming from the East with a proper upbringing, he can be very rude on purpose.
Looks:Kid Donovan is tall for his age, with dark hair and blue eyes. (And ignore the headphones)
The Character's Story: Kid Donovan was sent from the east when his parents died, to live with his uncle Hector- the only thing was, that Hector died before he arrived. So now Kid Donovan runs his whorehouse, Hanratty's, and owns his three mines, the Lucky Seven, the Aztec Princess, and the Two-Bit. Cole Jeffries is pretty much his protector, now, because he can't keep quiet about the gold he found in the Aztec Princess mine. So everyone is out to kill him for his gold, too! Cole pisses him off often, because he insists on calling him Donovan instead of his preferred real name of Horace, and just seems hell-bent to bother him.
Belle O'Neal
Full Name: Belle O'Neal

Position: Cole's Girlfriend

Personality: Belle is generally a happy and loving person, almost like a mother. But when Cole gets her mad, she's mad.
Looks: Belle has a heart- shaped face, framed by russet-red curls. Her blue eyes are simply irresistible.
The Character's Story: Belle was hired by Hector Pemberton as one of the whores in his establishment. She resides in Hanratty's, the bordello (whorehouse) that Cole lives in, and Kid Donovan now owns, in the death of his uncle Hector. She is in love with Cole, and will do anything to protect him, although she is often mad at him for some stupid thing he did. Like dropping her best German whiskey decanter from the top of the stairs on purpose.
Davin Gates

Personality: Sour, generally not pleasant, but is reliable, and a strong arm.

The Character's Story: He is an ex-lawman turned gunfighter. Davin was never one for formalities after serving with J.E.B. Stuart in the Civil War. He served in Kansas and Texas before moving even further west after the fighting was over. there he worked as just about everything from lawman, to guide, to hitman.
Wayne Hudson

The Character's Story: Wayne is a bounty hunter who has been tracking down Cole for the reward...and also for revenge........ When he finally guns Cole down, though, shooting him in the leg, he is unable to finish the deed, remembering what his father had once said about the changes of human nature.

Personality: She has a dark and troubled heart, but her eyes and smile radiate light. She vacillates between wanting to love and wanting to kill.

The Character's Story: Estrella is one of the people from Cole's past in Mexico. her boyfriend was a bounty hunter and he knew Cole had a bounty on his head- when he went to kill Cole, Cole ended up killing him. Now Estrella has come across the border to look for Cole. She got her name because she prefers to kill by night, under the stars. She slits her victim's throats, or as she says, "makes them smile red." She may be of mixed blood.

We just need someone to be Kid Donovan, and then we can start! Cole (Me) Belle (Blue) and Donovan are characters that have to be there in order for their to be any storyline. XP

She pulled on a nice blue dress that made her eyes pop and clevledge show. Her light red curls flowed over it and she opened the door. There was some drunk, Jeb. " Come 're sweet thin. " He said drunkenly and grabbed belle. Hi mouth immedly finding her. She shoved him off her and slapped him. " You get gone now Jeb. " She sia dans quickly ran in her room and slamed the door shut. ((We can't start until we get a Kid Donovan. XP But good post, anyways. XD))

Yeah, I know you can, but sometimes having more than one character makes inferior work out of the posts themselves, because there is more to do. Also, you'd need to post them in different colors or something, so we can tell who you were posting as. It's also easier when the people you rp as are on opposing sides, so they don't really interact.))

"Willie, I'll take another one here," a man growled at the bartender from the far side of the bar. Willie looked up, nodded briefly to the man, and proceeded to tap him another beer. Meanwhile, the man at the bar pulled his hat down low over his eyes. It was a faded leather Stetson, with more than one hole put through it. It matched its owner, a rough man of about thirty who looked like he'd gone through Hell himself. His clothes, from his dusty boots to his ragged checked shirt, belied that this man was no rich fellow.
In fact, he'd spent most of his life running around the country, trying to find out who he was, and what the point of living was. He'd wandered five years in Mexico, wanted for murder, and during that time, he'd added more notches to his belt, killing any son of a b***h that decided to draw on him. And there had been a lot of those. The law was looking for him. Bounty hunters, murderers too, the lot of them, were on his trail, looking for that government-issued reward. These fellows were generally easy to take care of. The drive behind their actions was nowhere near that of those after him in revenge. Revenge-seekers were the worst.
He'd killed fathers, he'd killed brothers, uncles, husbands, sons of people, and now relatives of those he'd slain were out for him. Revenge was a strong initiator. These people were out to kill him for killing their friends, their family, and these were the people that were hard to stop. But Colton Hezekiah Jeffries was through with living like this.
Cole had come back to Tonto's Wikiup, to hide from what his past had wreaked upon him. He didn't want to fight any more. He just wanted to settle down with Belle O'Neal, maybe have a few kids, and forget about the past. He just wanted to be normal.
But his past wouldn't let him.
