The Venture Bothers made a great batcave refference
Orpheus' daughter (token "goth girl") finds her dad and his two friends (black vampire hunter and the alchemist). She asks why they are there to which the alchemist responds "I'm here to look at your CD collection, yeah I'm old-school deathrock. You know I went to The Batcave when Nick Fiend was still the doorman!"
Kudos Adult Swim, kudos
Also, it's late and I'm loopy due to sleep-apnia so I know it's not horribly funny but this place is dead anyway so yeah.

Yeah, I noticed that. Apparently one of the writers for the show is a big fan of goth rock and the like, so they have a bunch of referrences hiding in it instead of the stereotypical "I H8 LIEF" banter seen on less informed television and movies (Good Luck Chuck has a seriously cheesy mallgoff in it).
Apparently Klaus Nomi and Iggy Pop were part of the Guild of Calamitous Intent. whee

Alien Hex Fiend Yeah, I noticed that. Apparently one of the writers for the show is a big fan of goth rock and the like, so they have a bunch of referrences hiding in it instead of the stereotypical "I H8 LIEF" banter seen on less informed television and movies (Good Luck Chuck has a seriously cheesy mallgoff in it). Apparently Klaus Nomi and Iggy Pop were part of the Guild of Calamitous Intent. whee David Bowie was the guild's leader at the beginning of the new season lol Also other musical allusions in the show include the 2nd season's episode where there was a look-a-like for The Prodigy's lead singer who kept skanking around and claiming that he was a Firestarter. XD I love The Venture Brothers

Never knew any of that but lol along with the badassness of Brock Samson (WHO IS NOT SHOWING UP THIS SEASON THUS FAR WTF) it's honestly my favorite show on AS (followed by Super Jail and Xavier)

I heard Brock left everyone. No I'm a diagnosed schizophrenic, I hate those kids lol Yeah Brock isn't in it atm. He left in the first episode of the new season and is now working with his old mentor in a double agent op thingy. He is in the next episode though and he fights the number 24 henchman guy who has gone isnane and all Rambo ever since his friend was killed by Samson. David Bowie gave control of the guild to Dean. The NEW body guard that is replacing Samson is Sgt. Hatred who is an alcoholic and an ex-*****. Hank has now grown out his hair and is wearing Brock's old jacket trying (and failing) to follow in Brock's foot steps. Orpheus' daughter left to study sorcery with her mom......I think that covers it

Yeah It's annoying Dean in the last episode tried hitting on some girls due to peer pressure from Hank and now even though he failed he thinks that he's a ladies man. Trianna went into her closet and saw her future where Dean was a whipped and semi-suicidal stay-at-home dad. She was shocked and after a long conversation with the guy who was her dad's mentor, and who the last time we saw him was in the form of Cerberus and he talked her nto moving in with her mom and studying Sorcerry so she left and she and Dean broke up.
