Arachne walked in and set her stuff on an empty bunk, she looked at the necklace that the centaur gave her before she came here. I'm gonna miss living with him. He was nice and cared for me just like my father. She sighed and layed on her back on her bunk.

Derek stumbled into the Hermes cabin and quickly walked to a bunk towards the back. He noticed a girl laying on a bunk but didn't have the courage to start a conversation. He put his back on the bunk and started taking out some of his belongings.

Arachne noticed a guy walk to the back, she didn't feel like talking unless she was spoken to. She pulled her iPod out and started listening to Morning after dark by Timbaland featuring SoShy & Nelly Furtado.

Derek put his ring on the table by his bunk and sat down on his bunk, trying to be as quiet as possible. He leaned against the wall and took out his ring. He moved it in the light and watched the red on it shine, it had been a gift from his parent... whoever that was.

Arachne was playing with her necklace while listening to her music. I sure miss my centaur guardian. She thought to herself, the song changed to Missing by Evanescence and she started singing beautifully.

After sitting still for a moment he got up and started to pace. He couldn't sit still for very long, something he usually got in trouble for at school.

Arachne stopped singing when the song changed to Money in the bank by Swizz Beatz, she noticed the guy that walked by her earlier walking past her. Goddess, he's cute. I hope he isn't my brother. She thought to herself.

Arachne pulled out an ear bud. "Hey," she held out her hand to the guy. "My name's Arachne Sinister."

Derek stared at her hand for a moment before shaking it. "I'm Derek. You're new here as well?" He could tell perfectly that she was new with her belongings still on her bunk, not yet put away.

"Yeah, I'm new here," Arachne smiled. "I wonder who my mother is, I never knew who my mother was even when my centaur guardian tolde me what I was. He said that mother's a goddess and I was in shock."

Derek nodded trying to keep up with what she was saying. "Did you believe him when he told you?" Derek remembered when he had first found out about all this.

'Yeah, I believed him," Arachne continued to smile at Derek. "I was 11 when he found me in an alley behind a restaurant, it had already been a year since my father was murdered in front of me. He looked after me and cared for me, he also helped me with problems I had at school. He gave me this necklace that turns into a 3.5ft long katana whenever I'm using it and if I'm not using it, it's in its necklace form before I came here."
