The StoryEver since that fateful journey though the Labyrinth, Sarah kept her friends and her adventure close to her heart. She even passed her story on to her own little girl. Night after night Sarah's friends Hoggle, Ludo, and Sir Didymus came to life for her. And as she grew up, she shared the story herself.
Now 18 years old, she's almost forgotten the stories, until she and her friends are hanging out in the attic one rainy afternoon. They find some stories about Labyrinth that she wrote long ago. It gets her mind to working and she asks them, what if they could go there? All she has to do is say the magic words, and she'll be able to be where her mother once was.
I wish we could go to Labyrinth... right now.
But there's one thing that the Goblin King wants from them. One of them must be chosen to stay and rule with him whether by his side or to take his place, or they all stay, forever. They have 13 hours to decide. Who will they choose?

Because that's the way it's done. 1) This is my original RP, which means that I happen to be in charge. Please follow my rules as well as the Gaia ToS and the Guild Rules.
2) No God-modding or power play. You're regular, vulnerable humans. The good guy in West Side Story can't dodge a bullet or keep going after a bad knife wound, neither can you. If you're Jareth...keep it reasonable.
3) Keep it at least semi-literate. I do not enjoy text talk, and neither do most of my friends. Your English teachers taught you for a reason! Make them proud please. No one liners either. You've got an imagination, paragraphs aren't hard to write.
4) Tolerance and Respect are commanded in this RP. Opinions are like A**holes. Everyone has them and yours never smells quite as bad to you as the rest do. If you have a problem with someone's opinions, beliefs, or lifestyles, STFU AND GTFO! Thank you!
5) Let's keep it PG-13. Yes there's going to be violence and I encourage it. I also encourage a little bit of romance. I do NOT, however, encourage racy scenes between lovers. That kind of thing can get one into great trouble and it will NOT happen in my RP. Take it elsewhere. Some kisses and cuddling are fine. And there ARE minors on gaia. Please keep the language to a once in a while thing.
6) Please, please, I can never say this enough. If you're not going to be active, don't sign up. I have problems with people that post twice and disappear for two weeks, then cry about not knowing what's going on when they get back. If you are going to be gone for a while, please tell us so we can find legit reasons to move on, and can keep a running log to catch you back up with us.
7) PM all profiles to me with the title "I wish we could go...", and add a heart emote at the top of the pm. Thank you very much!

The Cast Hi! I'm Josephine Leanne Hart, but you can call me Jo, Joey, or Sir. I am 18 years old, and I am a girl that likes both the ladies and the gentlemen. My reason for being here is I am Sarah's daughter. I started this whole mess. To make a long story short, I was born to a woman named Sarah, who'd had an amazing adventure when she was 15 years old. She called the place the Goblin Kingdom and the Labyrinth. She told me of the friends she made there, the goblin Hoggle, the monster Ludo, and the small, fluffy knight, Sir Didymus. As I grew I told the stories to my friends, and wrote my own adventures in Labyrinth, standing up to the Goblin King. But as I grew I forgot my stories, until now. My friends say that I'm a big dreamer. I seem to always be making wild plans, or writing stories. I also have a bit of a temper. Oh, I really like stories, books, and rain, but I really hate spiders, lies, and cheaters. Sure I have a song! It's More to Life by Stacie Orrico. One more thing! I hate making big decisions, and the choices I'm going to have to make about college and whatnot are starting to bug me. My parent is Lady Elizabeth Greyfox. Hi! I'm Edwin Christov, but you can call me Eddie, Win, or Epic Win. I am 19 years old, and I am a guy that likes the ladies and gents. My reason for being here is I am one of Jo's newer friends. To make a long story short, I always wanted to write for a living. I used to stay in my room for hours just writing about everything, or reading books. It's something I didn't like to talk about too much to other people, but at a chance meeting with Jo something just clicked for a moment and I blurted it all out. I guess you could say that's why we have recently become friends. I always try to be out going, so hopefully things work out for the best. My friends say that I'm really sweet and I usually find myself in the friend-zone. I don't really let it get to me and I try to be easy going, even though I can be a bit sensitive. I can joke around a lot with my friends, too. Oh, I really like hanging out and writing, dancing to music with my friends, and chewing gum, but I really hate phonies, that I haven't completed a novel, yet, and having to get a real job and go to college. Sure I have a song! It's Breathe by Abney Park. One more thing! If you call me Emo, I might jump on you with out warning and try to kick your a**. It's one of the few things I have no tolerance for. My parent is Leid. Hi! I'm Rosemary Frost, but you can call me Romy. I am eighteen years old, and I am a female that likes I'm not sure yet... My reason for being here is I am a new friend of Jo. We are lab partners in science. To make a long story short, I lost my father when I was six years old, but my mother takes very good care of me. She never remarried, but now has a girlfriend. To help with the lack of companionship for being an only child and social awkwardness, I befriended a black stray cat that I named Lysia. Due to my oddities, I tend to be more of a loner than a socialite and this has lead to Titania being my closest friend. But time to time I happily get pulled into a friendship, like meeting Jo and her friends through being her lab partner. My friends say that I'm quiet, I also hardly ever sleep. I tend to be fidgety because I rather be sketching than talking or standing or walking or anything. I talk easiest to Lysia. I am very short and quiet so I'm often overlooked or pushed to the side by those around me. Since no one takes me seriously, I think very poorly of myself. Oh, I'm also a romantic at heart...I just don't show it very often. Oh, I really like Lysia, my sketch book, my parents (dead, alive, and the girlfriend), but I really hate bullies, rough-housing, and closed-in spaces. Sure I have a song! It's "4 o'clock" by Emilie Autumn One more thing! I carry Lysia around in my knapsack with me always. Even in school...she's very quiet, like myself. My parent is The Twinge. Hi! I'm Christopher Kanno, but you can call me Chris. I am 18 years old, and I am a sexy boy that likes sexy people ;] My reason for being here is I am one of Jo's childhood friends. To make a long story short, I grew up next door to Jo. As kids we would play games like knights and ninjas or something CRAZY. We don't hang out as much as we use to, but we're still tight and I go to her house to visit every so often. We made a fort when we were younger, so I have claims to her house! My friends say that I'm cocky and full of myself. I know I'm adorable and sexy and I'm not afraid to use it. I get all the girls--and guys, if it happens. I don't really stick to plans very often and I'm very high-movement. I can't keep still for too long or else I'll just go crazy! Oh, I really like burgers, animals, and light shows, but I really hate school, board games, my family. Sure I have a song! It's "Japan" by Ludo One more thing! Don't let anyone know, but I actually do have some, you know, "deeper" thoughts... My parent is The Twinge. Hi! I'm Amie Marie Heartfell, but you can call me Amie, Heart. I am 18 years old, and I am a Female that likes gentlemen. My reason for being here is I am a dear friend. To make a long story short, I was born into a small, wealthy family. I am the only child in my family, the first and last my mother says, and it's a very glorious feeling. I met Joey in school and though I didn't talk much I can say I've known her since middle school. I've always prefered living life low key so I've spent much of my time studying through life. Going into middle school was a challenge when I never got my nose out of a book but I made friends enough and kept from getting bullied as much as I could. By the time high school hit I was ready to move on with my life and just at the right time. I always keep the stories Sarah told me in mind though, it's a fantasy I'll never forget. My friends say that I'm sweet but usually rather shy. I stray away from strangers, though it doesn't keep me from speaking openly with my friends and I'm hardly demanding. Everyone has their downsides, I'm quite a grouch in the morning, but don't let it discourage any opinion you have of me; all my friends do agree I'm wonderful. Oh, I really like many things, but most of all strawberries, chocolate and the sound of bells in the sweet summer heat, but I really hate long rainy days, anything related to vinegar, and the smell of a burnt breakfast. Sure I have a song! It's Never Alone by Barlow Girl. One more thing! Dancing is an old past time for me and singing's not far off, sometimes they just slip my mind and I'll start up at random. My parent is IGmangachick.

The Cast Cont. Hi! I'm King Jareth, The Goblin King, but you can call me Jareth. I am Agless years old, and I am a male that likes the ladies. My reason for being here is I am Why I live here! I am the Goblin King himself!
To make a long story short, It is quite unclear how Jareth became King of the Goblins much less how he came to be. Perhaps he was a human that foolishly swapped places with the old Goblin King, becoming trapped himself. Jareth quite remembers Sarah and her adventure vivdly as if it was yesterday. He admits, he had a soft spot for the girl, doing much more for her than he would have done for others that travelled into his lair.
Upon hearing Sarah's daughter has come, Jareth plans this time on at least making her his queen.
My friends say that I'm Wait, do I have friends? No matter, I am quite used to being in charge and dishing out orders. I like to have fun and always enjoy a good prank. I am rather short tempered at times and even have a fit if things don't go my way. What my little minions do not know is I do have a soft spot. Its just hard to find much less to reach.
Oh, I really like Singing, dancing, throwing extravagant balls, planning trouble but I really hate not having things go my way, being told 'No', and though I do not admit it loudly, spiders! Sure I have a song! It's Dance magic Dance! By David Bowie One more thing! I used to have a daugther that looked like Sarah My parent is Assassin_Entreri

Well it's life, but I'm sure... Jo climbed up the ladder and into the attic. It was cold and wet outside. No one could do anything out there with the downpour. It was like trying to swim just getting to your car. That made her a little peeved, as she'd wanted to hang out at the mall. But that was fine. Since they were all at the house, they could hang out in the attic clubhouse that they'd made when they were younger and it'd be fine. She liked the rain anyway. It was soothing, comforting. She liked the way it sounded on the roof just above their heads too. It was almost musical.
She flopped down on a bean bag chair and began to rummage through a box, waiting for the rest to join her. She knew they'd be coming up soon enough. They'd all just gotten done making snacks for themselves in the kitchen. Her mother was out at work and her friends had pretty much taken over the house with her. Not that they were doing anything stupid. She was proud to say that she and her friends were a pretty well behaved group most of the time. Sometimes they could get into scrapes, but nothing that had gotten them into too much trouble....there's gotta be more than wanting more.

. : R o s e m a r y - F r o s t : .► A Single Rose Can Be My Garden ◄ Romy only grabbed a bowl of pretzels as her snack. Usually she declined food at her friends' houses, but she came over from school so she was terribly hungry and could not resist some very delectable pretzels and a glass of milk. She did not forget her knapsack companion, Lysia. She poured a small bowl of milk for a treat for her kitty. She juggled all of this in her knapsack and hands and made her way up the attic. She didn't mind those who were also there--but she knew Jo better than anyone else, and it was awkward if she wasn't by her side.
She moved into the room, finding a comfortable spot on the carpet for herself. Upon her knapsack hitting the floor, Lysia bolted out for leg room. She ran up to Jo, jumping on the teenager's lap and purred. Lysia was far more friendly than Romy ever hoped to even be.
"Lysia come back here now!" Romy frowned. She feared her cat bothered those around her. "Come back now and drink your milk." When Romy placed the bowl of milk on the carpet for her feline, Lysia discarded Jo's lap to drink her delightful milk. "Sorry Jo." Romy frowned, sipping her own milk. "Lysia gets very adventurous in new places..."

Edwin Christov Wish I could breathe, wish I could stand. Wish I had a chance here holding you hand. Wish I could speak, wish I could talk. Wish I could breathe.Edwin had worked during the day while the rest were at school. The rain was pretty crazy when he had pulled up to the house, luckily he got in just fine with out getting too wet. At the offer of a snack he went and rummaged and settled on some tea and pretzels. After he got his share of post-work-noms he went back up into the attic and settled in to enjoy his tea and fill the little empty pockets in his stomach with a few pretzels. Still being new to this clique he felt a little shy but he tried to to let it hold him back from joining in to the laughter and joking. He watched and laughed softly as the little cat bounced it's way defiantly away from her owner, then into Jo's lap. "So no mall, huh? Its looks really bad out there. You think it might storm tonight?" Edwin took a sip of his nice warm tea and brought a pretzel to his lips, letting others speak. After a moment he continued. "So, what are he gonna do? Want to tell ghost stories?" A little curl of a smile tugged on his lips, "We could play that game where you light one hundred candle and each time you complete a ghost story you blow out one, by the end it's said a ghost should appear." He was smirking from ear to ear, not fully sure if he believed that himself, and he bit into his snack and started chewing, open to anything really, just tossing the idea out there.

Chris laughed at Edwin's suggestion, hearing it upon coming up the ladder. In his hands, he had a bowl of popcorn and an entire 2liter bottle of Mountain Dew--a bad sign. Despite his huge shades covering the majority of his face, his messy brown hair seemed to make up for the odd look. "Ghost stories? Here's one." He wasted no time leaping into the conversation, having known Jo for quite some time now. He laid down his snacks, leaped to his feet, and began the ghost story.
"Once there was a very young, attractive woman. She got all the guys, oh yes, but there was this one night she let the wine get the best of her and wasn't so careful with one. She told him 'no' but he wouldn't let her have it. She foolishly agreed to let him drive her drunken self home, but instead he drove into an alleyway and raped her. Beated her too. He left her there in all her glorious shame, but left his seed too.
"So what is a girl like herself to do but to have an abortion? She dared not give birth to anything related to the man who tortured her soul and body. So she killed it. Killed it. But it didn't like it. In fact, she called it an 'It' and it didn't like that. Because it was 'she' and 'shes' get all pissed about that sorta thing. So the baby took the form of a gryphon. It came to her in her sleep, waking her up by biting off one of her legs. The woman screamed! And then--"
He stopped and ran over to Jo's literature, "Oh my god are these those things you said that were about that one time because of that one thing?!" He squished his way onto the bean bag chair, "Oh damn I want to see!!!"

Edwin Christov Wish I could breathe, wish I could stand. Wish I had a chance here holding you hand. Wish I could speak, wish I could talk. Wish I could breathe.Edwin listened, watching the younger boy excitedly chitter. He looked over the snack of choice; a whole bottle of soda-that would catch up to him one day. Edwin shook his head and went back to his tea. He continued to listen to the story as it became odder and odder, smirking as it became so. He couldn't help but laugh as he cut himself off at the climax of the story. He chuckled at first, then it grew into a full belly laugh, leaning forward, his sides cramping. He breathed, laughed, then breathed, careful not to spill his tea. "Terrifying," he managed to squeak out, rubbing a tear from his eye. Edwin sighed and leaned back. "We'd need to set up candles first, anyway," he said, bringing his mug to his lips, but he first spoke, "and you need to shut out the lights. ... And finish the story," he ended with a pointed sip of his drink. He took a moment to fidget around in the spot he was seated to become comfortable, looking across at Chris.

Well it's life, but I'm sure... Jo giggled and shook her head. "She's fine Romy." She said good-naturedly. She happened to like the girl's cat. She thought it was kind of neat that Romy kept it with her all the time. She pouted a bit as it left her to drink up the milk. She sighed and went back to digging through a box. In it were old stories and junk that her mother had saved. She grinned a little to herself as she looked through it. "Storm? Maybe..." She frowned lightly at the thought as she answered Edwin's question.
Jo looked up as Edwin spoke of ghost stories and Chris launched into one in his eccentric way. She giggled as she listened to him. If this was supposed to be a scary story, Chris wasn't doing a good job of scaring her. It was only making her snicker and shake her head. She tried not to laugh as he went on but it was to no avail as he nearly bowled her over coming over to look in the box. "I don't think he has the attention span for that, Winnie." She said to her friend with a wink. "He's more of the 'oh look a bunny' type." She grinned and cuddled into Chris. She had teased him of that ever since they were younger. ...there's gotta be more than wanting more.
