101 Questions
This is a questionnaire used during character creation.
Having trouble figuring out your character? Or just need something to kill some time while simultaneously solidifying random details about your character? Then, have a go at this monster.
This is a questionnaire that has been floating around the renowned website, deviantart.com, for quite some time now and has been painstakingly adapted to suit Gaia codes!
The questions were not authored by myself, but even still, it's original owner contrived it for the purpose of allowing us to expand our characters identities, and they would surely not begrudge its use here on Gaia.
Here it is, 101 questions your characters should be able to answer.
Traditionally, it is responded to in First Person, as if your character were actually being interviewed. This allows for the opportunity to inject expressions and mood into your answer. As opposed to simply replying with single syllables, your character in effect is actually telling stories about their life, in their own words.
Just copy and paste. You might save it in word pad, as it is a lot of work and may or may not be finished in one sitting. Post your answers here, everyone!
Note: Answer as many as you want and don't worry if you can't finish in one sitting. Try to go in order if you intend to finish the entire questionnaire, but feel free to post it incomplete onto this thread. Indicate whether you are finished or still working on it, but I don't mind if someone decides to post in segments of twenty questions or so. [just confine it all to one post, edit new additions in and so on.]
Note2: I will not personally be able to critique everyone's submissions. If you are taking the questionnaire very seriously and would like critique from me specifically, make sure to say that in your post. I'll do my best to read and interpret your answers.
Note3: In lieu of my personal scrutiny, everyone is welcome to read and critique/praise one another's work here!
Any suggestions should be polite and constructive.
Needless to say, different role-plays have different types of characters. If one seems outlandish to you, take into account that character's setting before spouting off with something like "your character sucks."
Be nice and be considerate about all commentary. If you think someone's character is overdone or too cliched, then say so, but politely and constructively, and explain why.
