I was kind of curious about this, actually. I see a lot of hypnotists and enthusiasts, but I'm wondering something. What is it each of you really wants to get out of hypnosis, either as a subject, or as a hypnotist? What kind of things do you want to see happen, or what kinds of things to you want to make happen. It's interesting to see the responses to these kinds of questions, so I hope this thread can get some chatting together. I like the idea behind this guild, and I hope it doesn't die while I'm around.

Well, as a subject I find myself really enjoying the escape. I always have sort of a nervous tension and find it hard to trust people, so it's especially nice when I'm so soothed by someone as to put a lot of trust into them.
Actually that lack in trust is part of what makes it hard for me to be hypnotized, I think. I feel like it frustrates whoever makes an attempt. x.x; Like I'm too much of a wall to be affected at times... unless I'm caught at a particularly receptive moment.

if i had to pick....I would say the biggest thing i like as a dom is to see the slaves enjoying themselves, or like leolnaan says, escaping. I see hypnosis as sort of a break, and its frustrating if they arent enjoying themselves at a time meant to be of great pleasure and relaxation
there is a lot of bonding too, seeing as to hypnotize someone requires trust, i am good friends with doms and subs
me as a sub is basically the same thing

As the one being hypnotized, I love the helplessness of it all. You're no longer in control, and someone else is deciding everything you say, think, or do. It's kind of a rush.
However, as the hypnotist, I love being the controller. Being the one to tell others what they should and shouldn't think. Makes me feel like a villain, I guess. And I love being evil. XD

Well, as for me both as a hypnotist and as a subject, I agree with everyone so far. When I'm the subject, I see it as a way to just give myself to someone and let go of every-day life in exchange for submission to their will. As a hypnotist, I both take enjoyment from allowing my subject to let go and trusting me to control them, and pleasure from the complete control over another person submitting themselves to me in that way.

I personally enjoy knowing that I have them in my control. It's very...exhilarating. I don't really like being told what to do, I never have, and I'm going to do it anyway because I feel like if I don't, somehting bad will happen. Off the subject, PM me if you have any scripts, or ideas for scripts I can use at parties, or become more popular.
