The papers on the hokage's desk have multiplied ten fold. There are so many mission requests that Higher Ranked Squads are being placed on seemingly obvious tasks... An all chunnin squad was sent out to walk dogs just a slight bit earlier.
So now its pretty much the luck of the draw. However this mission gives the secretary pause. She has seen something like it before. It seems to be... a note of a sort. Who better to call then a high ranking squad...or the only squad left...
And so team 6 had been called. The female secretary is there waiting for the team to arrive before informing them of their assignment.
((I will be posting clues as you rp your way through the mission, and will be playing the 'bad guys' if the squad catches up with them. For now, you are to meet up at the missions office of Konoha, and when every member is there, you may begin the mission.))

Leilani sighed, shoving her hands into her pockets, sucker hanging from her mouth. She was supposed to watch students on her team while they performed a mission today. The blonde shook her head waiting for the children to show up. They certainly took long enough. (Pretty sure I'm needed XD)

Ichigo ran. Maaan! I'm late! Stupid alarm! His dango stick in his mouth, Ichigo quickly ran for his life to where his squad was meeting. Noticing a big crowd of people near by, he jumped up onto the roofs, and began to jump from one building to another.

Taiki sighed. He wanted to go find his girlfriend and do something more fun then a mission. He huffed and looked across the road. There was his teacher... He needed to become a jounin and get off this stupid team.. Soon that pointy....wait not pointy.... eared b*****d, would be there. He jogged across the street and stopped next to his teacher. "good morning sensi..." He ran a hand through his hair... "Do you know if this will take long?"

"It will take as long as you make it take." She stated, not really in the mood for being awake so early. Her sucker was sweeter than usual for a reason. Leilani needed the sugar for energy, otherwise there was no way she was going to get through the day without passing out from a lack of sleep. No more parties at night.
"Where is the remaining member of the squad?" She asked, looking directly at Taiki. She could only assume he knew where the third child was at. But then she rarely kept track of the kids outside of missions.

Moving a bit faster, he saw his Sensei. And the person he hated most. Great... Jumping down from the last building, he jogged up to them, "Sorry, Leilani-sensei. My alarm woke me up about 10 minutes ago..." There was a bag in his hand, and he raised it to eye level. "I got these for the squad... Just in case anyone's hungry." Inside were twenty-four dango sticks. He placed the bag on the ground, and scratched an itch his head. "So... What're we gonna do?"

Taiki shrugged his shoulder..."She could be anywhere..." He knew how to find her if needed but he would rather not. "Good!" he smirked "I now commence this mission over." He turned to walk away as fish boy fell from the sky. Oh joy...
Taiki rolled his eyes before turning back. "Haven't they thought to put a different chunnin on our team to replace the slow one of us?" HE eyed the blue chunnin with distaste. Food he packed food... the idiot... it was more important to be on time then well fed.
Glaring lightly at the ground he looked around.. He at least liked Gina's little sister... how a Genin got on their team he would never know... but she was talented...he would give her that much...

"You can't receive your mission if all three of you aren't here." She stated, yawning. The eldest of the three looked at the blue one, only to close her eyes. "Food is less important than being on time Ichigo. Ignore your stomach next time or come earlier." Leilani wasn't going to put up with any bull from the two of them today, she was already regretting waking up. At least she had her candy.

Ichigo sneered at Taiki. "I'm sorry if I was trying to considerate, ma'am," he said through his teeth. No one liked his generosity! Ichigo looked away, grit his teeth, and his eyes were wandering. No one ever likes me... Ichigo took a couple deep breathes, and shifted his eyes to glare at his Sensei, "Would you rather me go throw these out, and not be concerned of the team's morality?" Because that's not in my character! Ichigo wanted to say that, but he didn't have the guts to go up against his teacher's skill. The boy's tail twitched in agitation.
((This actually made me almost cry, because that's what I would do if I were in Ichigo's situation...))

Taiki really wasn't inconsiderate... Bashing came from being bashed and so it had turned into a game. At least that's how he looked at it. He frowned watching Ichigo. He didn't want him to be upset... He just wanted him to be angry...upset and angry were two very different things.. He eyed the bag. "Well if you are just gonna throw them out..." He reached down and poked through the bag before pulling one out and taking a bite.
His blue eyes watched Ichigo... Sure he could have poisoned them... yeah he probably should have made him take a bite first. He shrugged. "Eh....they aren't great" He watched for any outward reaction. "Sensi... Ichigo isn't the latest one..." HE was just pointing out the Genin on their team wasn't there yet... He glanced over to her and smirked. "Yah know... I still say that you can lick my lolli instead of sucking on that one all day..." He grinned. He was probably the best trained chunin out of the bunch...just cause he had been there the longest... He was sure he was around Lei's age give or take a few years.... The Topic change wasn't subtle but it was there... "Then again... I hear Ichigo likes lollies too..." His blue eyes glanced toward the other male.

She sighed, attention still on the blue one. He was being rather annoying for such a little kid. "You bought them already, I don't care what you do with them. But be on time the next time you're told to be somewhere even if it means ignoring your stomach for a while. When have you known me to not stop and get something to eat when we had the time?" Leilani really wasn't in the mood for this. Maybe it was the lack of sleep talking but she really didn't want to deal with either of these kids today.
"Trust me Taiki, she's going to get scolded as well." The female yawned, only to glare at Taiki for his comment. "You'd best hope you never go up against me in the field brat." She despised those comments. They were out of line even from the guy she was sleeping with at the time. Thankfully Taiki wasn't the guy she had hooked up with the night before. "No making fun of your teammates choices in life Taiki." She sighed, not caring if Ichigo preferred men or women. It was no concern to her at least.

Maeko scampers out the door at a dead run, silvery blue hair flying behind her as she dashes to meet up with her team. The dark blue turtle neck and blue jeans hid almost all of the bandages she wore. A small band-aid was on her face, as was on her neck, and fingers. Something had happened to her. She hops up on top of the buildings so not to run into the civilians, she would not be any later than she already was.
This is my chance to finally move up a level in school. She finally reaches her team mates and sensei, dropping down onto the ground before them. She stays down on the ground, going onto one knee and lowering her head. "Forgive me for being late, Leilani-Sensei." Her breathing heavy, body shaking lightly, and a slightly darker spot on the back of her shirt showing, Maeko had finally caught up.

Ichigo snapped at that comment from Taiki, but thought out something clever, "Oh, yes, I just adore lollipops! I like raspberry ones, and grape ones, but the cherry flavor's my all time favorite!" He grinned at the red-haired boy evilly. As the last member came up, he sighed, interlocked his fingers, and put them behind his head. "Hey, Maeko."

Taiki tossed his head and laughed. "No race issues for you i see... " He shook his head and looked back to the new arrival. "Tsk tsk Maeko... Later then Ichigo... That's bad~" of course he was joking but he looked to his sensi..."It was a joke..." He shook his head again and looked up as a female walked down the steps.
"Hello Team Six... Well i guess it is Team Leilani now..." She shrugged, "I see we are all here...." She mentally counted again...4.... right...4. She nodded. "Alright so this mission is nothing more then a C-ranked mission... At least thats what it was labeled as...." She frowned that previous letter,alll those years ago buzzed around her mind.
"Basically... its a letter requesting help from us to help in the mist village....
Shinobi of the village hidden in the leaves!
We of the mist ask for your assistance once more in the fight against Rogues... There is no way to live peacefully, but to catch these shinobi gone bad. WE have two out heading your way. One is a chunnin level but with dangerous skills the other is an Jounin level.
Please we ask that you respond quickly.

Leilani looked at Maeko, only to be beaten to speaking by the female who had descended the stairs. The scolding for being late would have to until later.
"Sounds easy enough.. Do you three think you can handle it?" She asked, looking at them with a smirk. She liked to think that her team was well trained, this mission would probably prove her thoughts on the matter, at least she hoped she was right. Missions written like this usually proved to be more than just a c rank. Hmm.. Down to stick again, she pulled the paper out of her mouth, replacing it quickly with a different flavor. Only thing to keep her sane when the students were fighting.
