Post your experiences with the Aussie cops here
Here's a couple of mine:
1. I was driving around my town dressed as a ninja and the cops drive past. The do a U-turn and flash their lights and siren.
First thing the cop says was "can you remove your mask?"
I found it hard to not burst out laughing.
Mind you I was just about to drive past all the banks.
2. Another one, I just got my P plates when after work I was driving home and the cops had a random breath test set up.
They waved their light sticks around and at me. I got all confused and kept driving. About 2 Kms down the road they appeared behind me and pulled me over. Got a nice lecture. They had 3 cars park behind me... Really, did they need 3 cop cars..
3. Another, I got pulled over outside my house for a random breath test. I was on my L's and practising reverse parking on my neighbours car.

XD cops pulling over an l Plater, that wouldve been classic, a Ninja outfit, i wanna see that, it couldve won Funniest home videos if it was taped, Though I somewhat shamefully havent had a run in with the cops just yet

I have mates in the force so I know all the tricks to get out of stuff.
Probably the best one was when I was leaving the Toodyay Tavern. I had my high beams on. My radar detector started to go off warning me a cop car was coming around the corner so I focussed my attention on slowing down to the speed limit (I was about 20kp/h over). Anyway I forgot to dim my high beams and the cops did a U-turn and pulled me over.
Now I was able to get out of the high beams because I told the police I had a sudden hayfever attack and didn't even notice until they were right there. So I save myself a fine there. Then I got breath tested. Using some tricks I learned I managed to blow 0.00% even though I think my reading should have been close to or maybe over the limit. I was also hiding a half full bottle of beer with my leg.
Best part was when he commented on how nice my car was and how it still smelt like brand new inside when he leaned in the window.
Probably the worst experience I've had with cops was when two young cops in an unmarked car (I can spot unmarked cars from a mile away) tried to drag race me several times from the lights...
I dunno why they thought I was gonna bother though, I was in a V6 Commodore, they were in an XR6 Turbo Falcon.

But I have a future ninja mission plan... If you've ever seen the 'urban ninja' on youtube, that's my inspiration. The damn cops are always targeting me, but I know what all their unmarked cars look like in this town so I've avoided a speeding fine. Although my only fine came out of when I crashed and failed to give way..

I know one of the guys who sells them too. What state do you live in because they're not legal in very many places? Blowing 0.00% is partly being able to handle alcohol, and partly a small trick I learned ninja

Had to fork out $1400 for the insurance company to fix the other persons car, $250 for a fine and lost 3 points. I'm a NSW person, soon to be ACT person

When I was little my Dad got pulled over for running a red light on the way to school. He told the cop that he hadn't noticed the light change because I'd distracted him by getting all excited about seeing a police car (partially true, I was very young at the time)
I got to sit in the police car in the driver's seat and press the siren button. It was pretty exciting xd
I've been on my Ps for 2 years now and I still haven't been pulled over or breath tested. The last time there was a booze bus on the road I was on, they waved me straight through. I was actually a little disappointed 'cause I've never been breath tested before. lol

My mum got pulled over for gunning it through an orange light as it turned red when I was like 4. Still remember it. What sort of car do you drive? My Commodore is a cop magnet because of the shiny paint job and big alloy wheels. I very rarely get stopped for a breath test or have my speed checked with handheld radars in my work van.

It could be the only real reason.

A Suburu WRX, I want one of those when I get the money, and i think my brothers getting one, I thought I was the only one who wanted them, *Sigh* i hope they dont turn into the new Holden VN

My Dad has a WRX, they're lovely cars but they do significantly up your chances of being pulled over xd

What is it with people and four cylinder cars these days?!?!?! confused
I drive a Commodore with dark tinted windows and big alloy wheels. I always get comments from cops like "oh we won't even check your car, it looks like it just rolled out of the factory"
The last cop I spoke to said it was the most mint VX he'd seen in ages. I still get pulled up and breath tested quite often though..
