"Cobwebs in my Head"

My thoughts are tangled
But my will has yet to be crumbled
These cobwebs in my head are
Confusing and blocking my train of thought
My heart can possibly be caught
I’m no longer sure of my path
I’m beginning to feel my past’s wrath
This love is complicated
And cannot be replicated
These love-bugs are a parasite
That attack out of world’s sight
I’m pulling extra weight
To be able to protect our friendship
But connection wires are waiting to be clipped
My thoughts seem to be confused
While my heart seems to be amused
This civil war will be fought
And I will reassemble the correct thought
