OmegaRyu_Tsuki Ayame It's never been that bad, the migraines. Nowhere near bad enough to cause that kind of reaction with my powers, he thought, half dazed. He wondered who these two were. He had the sense he'd seen the one on the steps before, but couldn't remember where he'd seen her. golden-priestess jean smiled at richie before gently lying him on one of the beds in the infirmary, hearing his thoughts she frowned slightly glancing at elaise before looking back down at him again " you'l be alright now, i don't know why your powers reacted the way they did but i promise that we'l find out if we can." she said in a soothing voice " sorry i haven't introduced myself, my names jean grey and i'm the medic and one of the teachers at the school" elaise heard richie's thoughts and frowned seeing jean glance at her she frowned again i don't know why his powers reacted the way they did, but i'm sure we can work out the reason why. that's if you want me to help you she said to jean telepathically before moving forward and standing close to richie " i'm elaise moreau, i'm sorry i made you jump outside i.h.o.p i didn't mean to." she said softly as she gently put her hand on his shoulder. OmegaRyu_Tsuki Ayame Richie sighed softly. He licked his lips before he managed to speak. "Richard Collins, though some call me Chill... for my powers," he said softly.
He tucked his arms under the small of his back, unwilling to see them hurt if he lost control again. His powers often came out through his hands or arms, most of the time.

Richard managed a faint smile. "I have some cryokinetic powers... you know, freezing things. I've found that sometimes, I can absorb energy from hits when people bother me, but so far, I haven't used it much. Most of the time I just dodge their blows with my agility," he managed to say softly. The bluish glow was faint in his pale gray eyes, but it was still there.

elaise smiled at him " you don't have to worry about hurting us with your powers we're both able to protect ourselves if we have to." she said softly as she saw him hide his arms behind the small of his back. so he can control ice, which i already knew from the incident in times square. i wonder if he has any other powers. she thought as she continued to smile at him.
jean looked at elaise and shook her head slightly warning her not to ask him about the rest of his powers just yet. she looked down at him " you have some amazing powers, this is a school for mutants where they can come to learn how to control their powers better. once you've rested and regained some of your energy you will be allowed to stay if you want to. we won't force you to do anything." she said softly when she heard what he'd saif about his powers. " elaise here is one of our older students and has control over telekenesis, empathy and telepathy." looking up she saw elaise frown and smiled.

Richard shrugged. "Fine with me. My parents threw me out about six months ago and I've been hanging in an abandoned subway station since then. I try not to go out during the day, partly because I think the sunlight is what may be causing the migraines, but I don't know for sure. It could be something with my powers or something," he said softly.

elaise frowned what he'd said about the migraines remained her of herself when she'd first found out about her powers. seeing jean watching her she shrugged slightly he reminds me of myself when i first found out about my powers. she said to jean feeling slightly uneasy she just wasn't sure why.
" your not the only one that was kicked out of their home. i was as well. it's not nice i know." she said softly remembering the day she woke up i the same room she was in now, with professor x telling her she would never be able to go back to her aunt and uncles house again.
jean looked at her and nodded but didn't say anything. she stood still for a few minutes thinking before saying " we can help you find out, through observation. but i may be that it is a mixture of your pwers and the sunlight that is causing the migraines." she said softly. noticing how quiet elaise had gone she looked up and gave her a searching look, hoping elaise would tell her what was wrong.

Richard had noticed that the migraine had been fading ever since he'd gotten here. Must be something about the company, he thought softly. "I have pretty good control over my powers though. He held up one hand as he pulled it from under his body, concentrating. Slowly, a swirling blue glow formed into a small knife that rested in his grasp easily. "I found I can create weapons from my powers, and if I concentrated in a certain way, I could make them like icy little bombs, though it wouldn't do much injury," he said softly. Resting, his reserves had been building steadily and the glow in his eyes was brighter, though not as bright as it had been out on the street or in the subway tunnel.

elaise heard his thought and smiled slightly i hope you like the company and decide to stay then. she said to him telepathically as she stood close to his bed with her arms crossed over her chest, her left hand resting on her right forearm, she saw the glow in his eyes grow brighter and shivered slightly, it was odd to see it because she knew that the only time her eyes ever glowed like that was when she was losing control over her powers. she could feel the emotions of the people in the school, she shuddered slightly as all of the different emotions and thoughts swan through her mind, her eyes began to glow as one of the needles on the tray not far from jean rose into the air.
jean smiled again" it's nice to see you have control over your powers, it took me and elaise a long time to get control of ours and we still don't have full control over them." she said, she looked up at elaise and her eyes widened slightly " elaise. calm down and sit down. how many times do we have to tell you not to let your powers control you." she said using her powers to make the needle move to the other side of the room away from where they were gathered.

It's a good thing I managed to control what happened back at that resturaunt, 'cause I don't want to think what might have happened had that ball of icy energy managed to break from my control. Most likely, it would have exploded in a very big way, he thought. Richard sighed as he released the concentration, letting the knife turn to mist and fade from sight.

jean looked at him when she heard his thoughts and smiled it is a good job you did. it would have not only caused damaged to everything that was around you but could have caused you to hurt yourself she said to him her eyes still on elaise, ready to use her powers to stop her if she had to.
elaise's eyes seemed to glow brighter as the emotions and thoughts she was feeling began to gain control over her powers, different objects in the room began to rise into the air and elaise shuddered slightly as she tried to gain control of her powers again and failed. she continued to shudder as a piece of medical equipment shot across the room and hit the far wall hard. " elaise, gain control. come on, you know you can do it you've done it before." jean said to her, using her powers to stop any of the objects from hitting her and richie. "i..ii can't." elaise murmered shuddering again as more objects flew into the wall, breaking on impact. suddenly elaise gasped and collapsed, the medical equipment hit the floor with a crash most of it breaking. a needle collapsed to the floor behind elasie, jean had used her powers to inject her with sedatives " i'm sorry elaise i had to do that before you hurt yourself." jean murmered as she gently picked the unconscious elaise up and put her on the bed next to richie. turning to richie she smiled sadly " she can't control one of her powers that well and it makes her lose control sometimes."

Richard shrugged slightly. He lifted his shirt to show a healing gash along his ribs that was a easy two inches long. "That would have gone through my ribs, but I managed to avoid it. Disadvantage is, I ran face first into a steel pole and broke my nose. The guy ran off after that, but I don't really remember," he said softly.

jean frowned " that doesn't look good, how long has it been since you got that injury?" she said to him, before looking around the room for the medical equipment she needed if the injury was as new as she thought. " my god she made a mess in here." she murmered glancing at elaise.
