Okay The two new sets to come out within the last month are the STARDUST OVERDRIVE and Hidden Arsenal;


WIthin the Hidden arsenal are more cards for flamveils and Xsabres, If your thinking of upgrading some nice combos using either side I recomend hidden arsenal. but going to the bigger news for me, and all other lightsworn duelists;

NEW LIGHTSWORNS,
within the new packs there are two lightsworns and fairies that is useful but not as much so as the ones we have seen in the past.

Okay I know what alot of you are thinking, WTF?! these are nota s useful as he thinks, but remember, with the milling effects of the lightsworns there is the problem of decking out, (pot of avarice can only help so much) and the Rogue can get garagonith, or monk back to the deck so you have a chance to get them back, but also the effect of SHire can help when you get the lights in the grave, and if late in the game, if you are still standing drawing her after a judgement clear is nice. but there is another new card that I am showcasing, one that I must be happy to announce, the final guardian; Eatos

Now if we all remember watching Rafael from the wakign the dragons arch you will remember this beutiful card, fortunatly she is the only guardian who can be summoned without an equip ^^ wich is nice for all of us. I am showcasing her because I for one was gratly wishing for this card, but since Irun bot a lgihtsworns and fairies you all can only begin to guess mfetish for this card, and please do not judge, Kaiba has a dragon fetish.

now anther card I wanna showcase before closing is yet aother fairy and one I find very nice; Archlord Kristya

Since we all like free of charge summons this one is nice, THough she can hinder your special summons she still causes one pain to the opponent, with 2800 attack Kristya can blow down most monsters these days, jsut beware the dreaded volcanic decks if they are still around.

Now since the excluseive packs of the hidden arsenal has arrived let's look at what is in store, of course some nifty new sets like the allies of justice, and some nift effects for everyone;
now here is the only card from the set I would like to bring to the table; Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier,

nothing i can say can explain this card well enough besides this syncro can be helpful. though it may take alot of support.
Now since this is the first report of the new sets to come out and thier golds why not Hear form you all on what our views on these cards is, if not post what PURE GOLD monsters and support you love in these sets is.

This is more in response to the gazette announcement rather than the thread.

I apologize for not posting more in the OOC sections of the guild. I do so simply because I am an old fashion duelist, I use mainly cards from the original series of Yu-Gi-Oh, and only about two cards from GX. Anything new coming out is over my head in comprehension, until I joined this guild I had not even heard of Sychro monsters. Although highly interested in collecting all of teh dragon types within the game, I am stopped from doing so for a very simple reason: I am unemployed, and have been looking for a job since May with no luck.

So I'm afraid I would be much of the useless conversation partner when speaking about the game on your guys' level. My apologies again.

I also haven't watched any Yu-Gi-Oh! beyond the end of the Alcatraz season, though I understand the gist of what happened for the rest of the original series. So the concept of the duel academy is foreign to me. Does the academy actually have classes or is it merely a place for people to continuously duel each other?

I believe the original concept of Duel Academy WAS to have classes. But of course, that took a dive somewhere off course. I just reccommend you skip all of GX, that is, if you ever feel like catching up. Unless you watch the original japanese sub, I wouldn't even bother. As for 5D's, it's very good, even the ideas that seemed bad turned out well. But once again, only until the end of the Dark Signers saga, because ever since then, .... *sigh*

And oh yeah, there is no more point playing whithout synchros, something that was supposed to be taken as playable fusions became overly retarded and WAAAAAAAYYYY overpowered. To the point where they are basically the most powerful cards in the game, and there is no point playing whithout them.

Also, it's a good thing Konami took over the game, as cards prices in NA will steadily decrease.... WE all must take abow to the ones who paid 250 for a Dark Armed Dragon... The secret Rare is stilll about 80 bucks actually.

I love Guardian Eatos I had one but I traded it to some guy in nashville but I will get another one so i can build fairies if anyone has one and wants to trade it or sell it please fill free to pm me ok
