Savoury Scrambled Eggs
Ingredients
2 eggs
3Tbsp Milk
1tsp Chilli Flakes
1tsp Ginger Powder
1Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
2tsp Vegetable Oil
2tsp Butter
Cooking / Preparation Time
Cooking: 4 - 5 minutes
Preparation: 1 minute
Yield
2 serves (Main)
4 serves (Filler)
Method
1. Heat the oil and the butter in a pan on medium heat.
2. Beat the eggs, milk, chilli flakes, ginger powder and worcestershire sauce until well combined.
3. Once the oil and butter have melted, pour the egg mixture into the pan. Don't worry if it looks runny - it should be.
4. Cook like you would cook scrambled eggs, using a constant chopping motion with the spatula to separate the egg.
5. When it starts to brown, remove from the pan and let it cool.
6. Once the scrambled eggs have cooled, you can put some of it into your bento and transfer the rest into the fridge (covered of course) for tomorrow!
This goes great in noodles or just by itself. If you're not too fond of chilli, you can either reduce the amount of chilli flakes or omit them altogether.
