Dont put too much thought into these classes. You like weapons than become one of the fighter classes, you like magic than become one of the arcane or divine classes, etc. The importance of role playing goes first.

Everyone starts out with one class for their character. After gaining 3 levels in the first class you may pick to take another class. As you level you pick which class you which to increase and gain the skills, spells, etc for that class and doesnt raise your other class. After gaining 7 levels in either class you may choice to pick a third ((And your final)) class. Keep in mind that once you pick a class you cannot change it. Also keep in mind the possibility to gain prestige classes which is obtainable if you have certain feats or amount of levels or even gender restricted like Bishop=males and Witch=females.
Feats Feats are the class type universal skills that one can pick at certain times in their leveling. Some, like weapon focus, increases your skill with a certain weapon while others like metamagic maximize spell increases the length, duration, and power of your spells. Certain feats arent available to certain classes like most Arcane classes who cannot pick medium or heavy armor. But! Multiclassing with arcane classes and some fighting classes allow you to have medium and heavy armor or pick later when you level with that fighting class as one of your feat selections. But as you will read elsewhere, some arcane and divine classes spells have a penalty cast when wearing certain armor.

In order for a more role playing experience each class will only start out with one weapon knowledge granted to you unless otherwise noted, not including the weapons that you know how to use from certain clans or races. To gain more knowledge in other weapons THAT you are capable of learning with your class you must go to a trainer somewhere in the world and train from this person with that weapon.
You can not gain training from a trainer that teaches a weapon you cannot learn due to your class. Example: Warriors cant use wands and mages cant use kantanas.
Of course what cancels out this is gaining a feat that lets you learn weapons from another field. The fields are simple, material, and exotic.

Please note that on the profile form you will see the field ((Two Elements)) these elements are always at your disposal to learn how to use and wield in your adventures but does not limit Arcane, Divine, or other classes that use elements in spells to those two.
